HAPPY DECEMBER 1st ~

I'm so getting in the mood to bake......but if I start it now, I know we'll eat every single thing I make BEFORE Christmas. We'll get up Christmas morning and have NOTHING sweet or spicy or yummy for the whole day. I try hiding it from myself by putting it way back there in the freezer, behind all the other things....but, I know it's there and......I eat it !!!!! :(

I made these sausage balls last night and they really tasted good. (See? WE EAT EVERYTHING I MAKE AND DON'T SAVE ANY AT ALL !) (Well, we did have enough left to warm and have with coffee this morning and, yes, there's a FEW left, but not many!) I've not made them since last Christmas so we were all ready for them.

ZESTY SAUSAGE BALLS

1 lb. sausage, crumbled and pre-cooked

10 oz. Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated

1 egg

3 cups Bisquick

1 sm. can chopped Green Chilies

MIX ALL TOGETHER, (just wash your hands good and get 'em in the bowl and squeeze) ROLL IN YOUR HANDS INTO QUARTER SIZED BALLS, PLACE ON COOKIE SHEET AND BAKE AT 425 ABOUT 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL NICE AND BROWN.

I took some to beautiful daughter's jewelry party last night! They are so easy to make and have a HUGH taste!

GREAT DAY to you!

Sausage Balls!! Yum..yum. I make them every year for Christmas morning breakfast. It's a tradition now and it's the only time I make them. I bought the sausage yesterday and put it in the freezer. For someone who ask...yes, they freeze beautifully. Have a great weekend BJ. ~ Lynn

Read this recipe off to my hubby, will have to try making them. I too have been thinking I would like to do some Christmas baking. I figure I can always send it off to work with my son and husband, cause otherwise no hiding place would be safe from me. Could you give me your buttermilk pie recipe? Enjoy the day!

I love sausage balls too and I have been eating everything I make. I have no willpower at all.
