CRANBERRIES, TEA and THE BLUES....

I've had many emails stating that they were concerned because my comments were closed on all the pre-scheduled posts while I was away for a little over a week...
I DID THIS ON PURPOSE...
Not wanting to have my INBOX overflowing while being gone on our trip, I decided to
close comments.
I do hope you enjoyed the posts I left each day...and I do appreciate the concern.
THANKS, EVERYONE !!

CRANBERRY SCONES...
aren't they beautiful ?
*
I BOUGHT these scones at the market
and the CRANBERRIES are frozen...
didn't the two make a pretty picture !!
*

So so glad you could take the time to have tea with me...

Isn't it awesome that THREE different patterns of blue and white still
seem to "go" together....
*

I found this sweet little TEA FOR TWO booklet at THE DOLLAR TREE...
It has the sweetest verses and poems....
I am always so amazed at the thing just a dollar will buy... this is really a sweet, little book...

Don't you love the magic of candlelight....?
*
BLUE AND WHITE..
SO CLASSIC...
*
....cakes
*
Daisies were my mother's very favorite flowers...
of course I never see them that I don't also see her sweet face...
I know these flowers aren't DAISIES...but the sweet, tiny white mums REMIND me of daisies...
*
I sure wish my little mama could sit down with me for a cup of tea...
but, then, she would be OH so olden...so I will wait until we can have a HEAVENLY tea together...
and WE WILL !!

*

Cranberries are such pretty shades of RED...
*
*
COOKIES...
Fix yourself a nice cup of tea,
grab a cookie and put your feet up...
ENJOY THE REST OF THE DAY AND NIGHT...
YOU DESERVE IT !!

I love your yummy tea for two, BJ.

I am happily catching up with my blog visits, here at the lake. I was thrilled to find out the internet was repaired while we were away.

We were so busy with the garage sale business last week, I didn't have a whole lot of computer time!

I loved how your posts came while you were away. The usic with the ship bell in the background, you are good girl. Can't wait to see your pictures. I am sure you had a great time. Welcome back.
Loved the pretty dishes and the daisies.

Everything looks great, but my choice is the ruby cranberry scones. I Imagine these warm, with a spoonful of cream as an addition. The sweet can be enjoyed with a stout tea. Conversation would be the perfect 'desert' to the sweets!

Your post always look SO delicous!!
Looking forward to hearing/seeing about the cruise. We did it a few yrs. ago & had a wonderful time.
( I wanted to comment, when it was turned off, to tell you about some thrift stores that we went to in Sitka & Ketchikan:)

Welcome home BJ~I thought of you often last week and hoped you were having a wonderful time.

When I was taking some design classes several years ago our instructor told us that The blue and white goes with everything. You can put it in any room and it works its magic. You have proven that also. I love your brunches and teas and how everything works together so well. They are so inviting. Glad you're back...

Hugs,
The other BJ

It all looks wonderful. Those blue patterns are so great because they do mix and match (the pink ones too.) That is a cute little book. I'm sure your mom is looking down and smiling.

You blue plate special looks so invitingly pretty!!! So decorative it is. And the cranberries along with the scone on the top photo is just so great looking.

My Ruby Tuesday is HERE. Hope you can find time to visit with me today.

Yummy--these scones look lucious!

You are right about the different blue transfer patterns They look better than if they matched. Blue and white are a favorite of mine and the cranberry scones are perfect. I look forward to seeing what you come up with to share next week.
Mister Linky is now working and please feel free to come over a second time to join. I would not want the ladies to miss out on this incredible post!

Your photo's are always just so beautiful..and yes...the one of the frozen cranberries with the scones is fantastic! The soft rose red (favorite color) with the gold of the scones...wow!

I am glad you are back...and I came and visited from time to time...saw that you were having a wonderful time! :) I'm glad your fellow still likes to travel...mine is travel shy for trips like that. Maine will be my big trip I'm afraid. :)
I am so glad you like the little red Bistro set...I knew you would! What is so great about painting is that you can always change it... not that I will, you understand! :)
Hugs to you my friend!

I wanted to reach into my computer monitor and grab one of those scones! They look so yummy! BJ, be sure to check other Dollar Trees in your area. There are actually six different titles of those little tea books. I bought all six and have thoroughly enjoyed reading them all. I was lucky that the first Dollar Tree I went into had all six! They are well worth $1 each.

All your blue and white china is lovely together. I like daisies too, and sunflowers even more.

The cranberry scones look yummy. They are the type of scone I make most often.
