I've had many emails stating that they were concerned because my comments were closed on all the pre-scheduled posts while I was away for a little over a week...
I DID THIS ON PURPOSE...
Not wanting to have my INBOX overflowing while being gone on our trip, I decided to
close comments.
I do hope you enjoyed the posts I left each day...and I do appreciate the concern.
THANKS, EVERYONE !!

I love your yummy tea for two, BJ.
I am happily catching up with my blog visits, here at the lake. I was thrilled to find out the internet was repaired while we were away.
We were so busy with the garage sale business last week, I didn't have a whole lot of computer time!
BJ, I am delighted to see your tea post up after your trip! Everything looks absolutely scrumptious! I LOVE cranberries and they are good for you too. Love the daisy-like mums! Daisies are such friendly flowers! Your post is positively delightful! Thank you for joining me for Tea Time. Hope you have a lovely week and I look forward to hearing about your trip.
Blessings,
Sandi

The food looks awesome, BJ! Especially the scones. I just love tea and scones. Your blue transferware is fabulous! You are just the best at setting up "pretty" and capturing it in photos!!
Hugs and blessings, Beth
I love daisies too and the color of cranberries, my favorite color! Come say hi :D
Think I will pitch one of those conniption fits. This new blogger thingie is driving me crazy. So needed to stop and have a cuppa with you. Can't wait to hear all about the trip. I did like those scones and cranberries too. Glad you are back. Blessings

The scones do look very tasty! Cranberries are so good in scones, cookies and muffins.
Nice tea BJ and the scones and other treats look yummy.
I'm eager to hear about your cruise, we're doing the Alaska cruise in late August.
I loved how your posts came while you were away. The usic with the ship bell in the background, you are good girl. Can't wait to see your pictures. I am sure you had a great time. Welcome back.
Loved the pretty dishes and the daisies.
Everything looks great, but my choice is the ruby cranberry scones. I Imagine these warm, with a spoonful of cream as an addition. The sweet can be enjoyed with a stout tea. Conversation would be the perfect 'desert' to the sweets!
Your post always look SO delicous!!
Looking forward to hearing/seeing about the cruise. We did it a few yrs. ago & had a wonderful time.
( I wanted to comment, when it was turned off, to tell you about some thrift stores that we went to in Sitka & Ketchikan:)
Welcome home, BJness! I've enjoyed your posts while you were gone and I love the looks of this one too! Love tea the those pretty scones!! Yummy!
Now I can't wait to see and hear all about your cruise! We're going on the Alaskan cruise again next month! This is one of my favs! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Isn't it wonderful that we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again some day? Your dear little mama is watching over you, I am sure:>)
I think I first fell in love with blue and white dishes here on your blog BJ.
Tea, scones, and all those goodies - yummy!
Your table is lovely, BJ. ~ sarah
Welcome home BJ~I thought of you often last week and hoped you were having a wonderful time.
When I was taking some design classes several years ago our instructor told us that The blue and white goes with everything. You can put it in any room and it works its magic. You have proven that also. I love your brunches and teas and how everything works together so well. They are so inviting. Glad you're back...
Hugs,
The other BJ
Wow, looks delicious.
It all looks wonderful. Those blue patterns are so great because they do mix and match (the pink ones too.) That is a cute little book. I'm sure your mom is looking down and smiling.
You blue plate special looks so invitingly pretty!!! So decorative it is. And the cranberries along with the scone on the top photo is just so great looking.
My Ruby Tuesday is HERE. Hope you can find time to visit with me today.
Yummy--these scones look lucious!
You are right about the different blue transfer patterns They look better than if they matched. Blue and white are a favorite of mine and the cranberry scones are perfect. I look forward to seeing what you come up with to share next week.
Mister Linky is now working and please feel free to come over a second time to join. I would not want the ladies to miss out on this incredible post!
Blessings, Pam
i just love cranberries, they look so good in the things prepared here
Blue and white is such a classic. What a lot of yummy treats..I wouldn't stand a chance if I had all those around me...My willpower would be crying for relief and I would have to run for the hills.
Fantastic photos, very quaint and charming. Tea and scone, it just doesn't get any better than that. Nicely done.
What WONDERFUL tea treats! I LOVE scones and cranberry scones are my favorites :)
Blessings!
Gail
Your photo's are always just so beautiful..and yes...the one of the frozen cranberries with the scones is fantastic! The soft rose red (favorite color) with the gold of the scones...wow!
I am glad you are back...and I came and visited from time to time...saw that you were having a wonderful time! :) I'm glad your fellow still likes to travel...mine is travel shy for trips like that. Maine will be my big trip I'm afraid. :)
I am so glad you like the little red Bistro set...I knew you would! What is so great about painting is that you can always change it... not that I will, you understand! :)
Hugs to you my friend!
Mona
Hooray, you are home. I did try to leave you a comment along with tons of others girl. I do think it was a good idea to close off comments though. Next week will be a bloggy break for me with my grand anf three of my five children here too. Oh, joy!!!
I would really love to have tea with you bj. I KNOW there will be a wonderful treat to go with my tea. YUM! Everything looks beautiful and delicious.
I can't wait to see your cruise pics. I know you had the best of times celebrating your 50th. Alaska is a wonderful place to visit.
Love you to pieces.
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne

I wanted to reach into my computer monitor and grab one of those scones! They look so yummy! BJ, be sure to check other Dollar Trees in your area. There are actually six different titles of those little tea books. I bought all six and have thoroughly enjoyed reading them all. I was lucky that the first Dollar Tree I went into had all six! They are well worth $1 each.
Saw you were back! Hope it was a wonderful trip! I love blue and white, so I really enjoyed this post! Thanks!
BJ, You must spend all of your time in the kitchen baking and cooking!! You make me hungry whenever I visit. LOL
Hope you thoroughly enjoyed your cruise. Wish I was in TX sharing those yummies right along with you! Hugs, Sue
Oh how lovely. Everything is so pretty and inviting and the food all looks so yummy. You've set such a beautiful table. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
Lovely! Everything looks delicious!
How do you stay so thin with all those goodies around??
Oh, BJ, everything looks so good! The blue and white transferware is so pretty, but what really tops the cake is all of those delicious goodies! I'd like one of everything please! :) I enjoyed my visit here today.
Finally this is my first time I pop in here. I discovered a lot of remarkable substance on your webpage specially its conversation. Keep up the good work! I invite you to see my post, I hope you will find interesting too.
i have a very similar pottery and i love it! your pictures are great!
wish you a sweet day,
justyna
So happy you had a wonderful trip with great weather, great to have you back, now you can plan your next adventure...everything looks delicious, I think I will have to have one of those scones right away...
All your blue and white china is lovely together. I like daisies too, and sunflowers even more.
The cranberry scones look yummy. They are the type of scone I make most often.
