THIS IS A REPOST from last summer...**
The temp today was wonderful...low 70's but OH, so windy. When it gets a little nicer, I won't be using PAST POSTS...:)hosted by SUSAN..
Please stop over and leave her a great comment and see all the other outdoor things going on...
About 5 am, the thunder, lightening and HARD rain awakened me..I jumped out of that soft, warm, snuggly bed....
knowing I didn't want to miss A SINGLE DROP...

Right out to the porch I went....and may I just say that it was COOL out there....COOL, temp wise...
and, WAY COOL because it was raining....
...isn't our new porch swing so pretty?
I just love it !! It makes the whole front of the cottage
look much better!

I knew right away that this was another morning on the porch ...
breakfast in the rain...
It just doesn't get much better than that for me..

GRAVY !!GOOD GRIEF, but I love it ! So does MR. SWEET...
We don't eat it very often at all but every now and then, I just seem to
wake up hungry for it.
and....sausage sure goes gooood with gravy.

Our paper was in a plastic bag that morning so I am sure thepaper boy knew something I didn't.....;>)

I've been just busy enough that I hadn't paid any attention to the weather forcasts...

This is a pretty neat olden tray that I'm using this morning.

Sounds and looks wonderful, BJ. We haven't had a meal on the back porch yet, but did on the deck,last week at the lake.
I did a past post too, today....really it was a post about the past!LOL
Your yard looks so green and pretty. Everything here in PA is just starting to come alive after being buried in a couple of feet of snow two weeks ago.
You serve the kind of breakfast I like. I do not need them, but love biscuits and gravy with crisp bacon or ham. You really shared a lot of lovely things today. I always enjoy visiting your place.
