That pecan pie looks absolutely scrumptious! I'm so happy you are feeling well enough to be in the kitchen long enough to complete such a masterpiece. Too bad I don't live a bit closer....
Your blog brings back sweet memories of my Mom's pecan pie.She was such a good baker and her pie crusts were always homemade.I can remember begging her to make fried pies. I am happy you are doing so good!
Linda
Wow, you're up and baking? I'm impressed!
That pie looks delicious! Oh my, I do love pecan pie! My mouth is watering.
You are amazing, lady! So glad you are healing so well!
Kady
Oh my gosh, I can almost TASTE that pie!
I never bake pecan pies because no one in my family likes them except me - everyone thinks they're too sweet and too rich... is there such a thing as too sweet or too rich?? I think not!!
BJ, I am glad you feel well enough to be in the kitchen, and the pecan pie looks wonderful. Those pecans look like the ones I order from Georgia every year from Atwell Pecan Company. It also looks like the pecan pie I make with the light colored filling instead of one made with dark Karo syrup.
Slice me a piece. I'll be right over.
Lordy girl I could go for a piece of that pie!!! But I am just so excited you felt like making it also...good for you sweetie...may you grow stronger and stronger with each passing day..love ya girl!
Great looking pie. I can just taste it--AND those apricot fried pies. However, Mama Susan says, "Don't overdo." Glad you're feeling better, BJ.
Delicious looking pie, BJ ... I'm so glad you felt like making it and sharing it with us.
You take care now ...
Sincerely,
Janie
Impressive! And I love your Mackenzie Childs canisters! WOWIE!
