That's my mother, dad and me....and a few of her sewing notions. I think I've told you how well that lady could sew?
That pretty piece of crochet, the crochet hook and the picture belonged to my mother-in-law. I found the crocheted purple rose in her sewing machine drawer after she passed away.
The watch belonged to my father-in-law......
That's my dad and some of his pocket knives and a silver dollar he had for years and years.
The lady and gentleman in the left, top corner, are my children's great-great grandmother and grandfather...the glasses in the area beside them belonged to her and the glass bottle stopper is from a bottle that was in his saloon, so many years ago. The two gentlemen holding that PRECIOUS baby girl...in the right corner...that's both my grandpa's and they are holding ME !! :)
ROOTS....they are so important! Hang onto them with all your mite.....they really are A THING OF THE PAST.
