Wait. WAIT! Gotta get my spoon!
I like lots of store bought cakes but never pie. Pies must be home-made. Love that photo of you and hubby on your 52nd Anniversary. Congratulations and sorry I am late. Hugs, Deb
Sooo What is right! Now, where the heck did you find ice cream packaged like that? Is it in clear plastic? Have fun with your friends- xo Diana
Where's mine? Looks great ...
Have a beautiful eve ~

oh, yeah. seconds of all 3 please!
Amen! What matters is having a great time with your friends.
Nothing wrong with store bought!
Looks delish store bought or not. YUMMY.
I would love to try all 3 flavors.
I surely wouldn't care if it was store bought:) It looks wonderful and so yummy!
I had some STORE BOUGHT ice cream tonight too!! So what. indeed!!! Your cakes look so good, what are they???? XO, Pinky
So What is right!!! Looked divine!
Oh bj- I too am a republican! And I LOVE mr Cheney. But let's face it - he is kind of boring and I wouldn't be getting any style inspirations from him!!
Amen, Sister!!!
I ended up buying things at the grocery today that normally I would make 'home made.' But, alas, time is short and I am tired. I doubt very much that the mom of triplets I am taking lunch to tomorrow will really care. I am bringing FOOD! That's good enough. AND I won't be worn out and can enjoy holding those babies!
I'm sure you all had a great visit and enjoyed the snacks! Looks like you found the perfect container for ice cream... I've been looking for years with no luck. Inquiring minds would like to know, where'd you find it?:@)
Exactly! So what and I'll take some strawberry please...Thank you! appreciate you stopping by for a visit bj, nice seeing you!
I'll have a slice of each with any flav ice cream! Easy and not so tired you won't enjoy your company! Just can't bake all the time……..

You make all things yummy and beautiful BJ ~ not to worry (:
Anything you serve LOOKS delicious, even store bought! I know that everyone enjoyed your treats! I will take a little of ALL three kinds of ice cream:) Have a blessed day, HUGS!
Looks yummy, Beeej! I have been under the weather with the flu bug, ugh. Better now, tho! I love your new header!
Hey - a good cake is a good cake. It doesn't matter if it's store bought or home made.
Store bought or homemade cake and ice cream is always good. Have a blessed day. Madeline
I doubt that our friends drop by for the goodies and, if they do, they'd be sorely disappointed by what they would find here. You and Mr. Sweet are what they're looking for! Hope that you're having a wonderful week...
Who cares if it's store bought? Pass me a fork!
Regarding your comment on Dick Cheney on my blog: Honey, I am a TRUE BLUE REPUBLICAN girl and PROUD of it! And I love Mr. Cheney, however please - his 'style' does not inspire me - hee-hee!
I see you Mr is as wise as mine; I also worry that it is not home made, but who cares. We were born to worry; poor us. Thank God we have our guys to make us see the light. Sorry I haven't bee around much; I am in the process of studying how to cook and bake with my convection oven. I know it will come but....

The ice cream would have been enough---the picture captures every bit of its shiny, colorful sweet goodness. It looks as if every flavor is a rich best-of-itself.
Thank you for dropping in at Lawn Tea---you're always SO welcome!
This queen of take out says....I'll have some of everything! It's always more about the fellowship for me....I'm sure that you had a great evening with your friends. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
So what is right! Let them eat cake!
Yep! Store bought "so what!" was in my vocab last night too. We had PH's family over and had store bought sausage lasagna, frozen green beens with added bacon and onion of course, store bought garlic bread that you just toast, and a green salad. Ice cream, a couple of flavors for dessert and lemonade made from packets. Everything was delicious! Store bought SO WHAT! :):)
Hugs,
Mona
Thank you for posting this. It’s exactly what I was looking for!
Your pictures are always so wonderful! Where do you get all the energy to do things you do?
I have two pieces of news for you: First, Tissa, my sister-in-law is on your prayer list. Today she got the word after extensive testing that she is cancer-free.. this news after weeks and weeks of chemo and radiation. Yayyy! I thank you and all who prayed for her. Prayer works!!
Also, a sweet young friend of mine (40ish) has melanoma. She is completing her treatments but has decided to go for the extra year which is optional. She told me this with tears running down her face. She has children and a wonderful husband to live for. Who wouldn't want to make extra sure?!
I told her about your cancer journey and have hopefully talked her into starting a blog. I think you will truly inspire her. Her name is Collette but we call her "Coley". Precious woman!
She may show up here at some point. Would you please put her on your prayer list?
Thank you!!

I would eat that! Don't we get all hung up on everything being perfect though? What really matters is having a good time with friends and taking the time to be a part of their lives!
Earl and I enjoy cooking and baking so we do it, but there is not a thing wrong if you don't have time or inclination to do every little thing from scratch.
Store bought cake and ice cream? Sign me up! Especially if it comes with a big helping of loving frindship:>)
That ice cream is so pretty! :D
Your friends were in good company...that's all that counts. Although ice cream helps! :)
XO,
Jane
Sometimes "store bought" is very yummy! I love homemade, but if it has sugar...anything will do!
BJ,
I agree with "Mr. Sweet"!!! Too many times I get caught up in the "gotta' fix something special"...when spending TIME with family and friends is where I need to place the emphasis!!! I think this is one idea I may have to borrow!!! Hat's off to YOU...and of course, "Mr. Sweet"!!!
Fondly,
Pat
