SOME JOYS OF MY 2010 CHRISTMAS

OF COURSE, the biggest joy at Christmas or any other time is my family
and the quality time I am blessed to spend with them.

♪♫♪ YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE....my only sunshine....

The smiles, the love, the FUN...
Four of the 7 beautiful grandgirls in some
funky pj bottoms....
:))
Cousins lovin' cousins...
Christmas smiles sooo warm my heart.
MIZZ CATE, the GREAT grandgirl got lots of toys and fun things...
but I think she loved her DR. PEPPER flavored lip gloss best of all...
a little on her lips and a little IN her mouth...
soooo cute !
Christmas around daughter's house and son's house .....
I LOVE that they all live right here close.
just love it !!
Remember the 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS dessert plates
that I was REALLY, REALLY wanting...?
STACY and her family gave them to me....

I just about wet all over myself...
THANK YOU, STACY and JENT..
DREW, BROOKS, BRYNNA and DEEDS.

I just love them....
THIS is a STUNNING bracelet that my son, DAVID and family gave to me.
A beautiful GRANDMOTHER'S bracelet with a link for all my
grandchildren.
The two charms hanging are for the GRANDSON IN LAW and the GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER.
Each time a new person comes into my family, I will add their special charm.
A grandson just became engaged so it might not be too long until I add another charm.
:)
THANK YOU, DAVID, KATHY, COURTNEY, BRYAN,  JESSICA, CORY, CATE, LACEY, ANDREA AND BAILEY.
It is beautiful and I'll wear it with pride...and lots of smiles.
Some of you might remember this beautiful bed I am about to
pitch a hissy fit for...
I've been gathering the bedding
one piece at a time for quite a few months now..
I've put them in a red basket and every time I walk by it,
it makes me so tickled...
but...
I needed the quilt
and it was a little too much for my SOCIAL SECURITY BUDGET so
I've been having to hold off a little while longer on
starting the
 GUEST ROOM OF MY DREAMS...

BUT...
my sweet MR. SWEET, the BESTEST SANTA CLAUSE,
ordered it and two beautiful pillows...
"THANK YOU, HONEY.
I am sooo happy with this gift that I won't EVEN ask you to help
me strip the wallpaper border off and repaint the entire room.
If I even LOOK like I MIGHT ask, just say,
QUILT....QUILT...
and I'll back off....PROMISE !!
Oh, and STACY, the beautiful daughter,
knowing how much I would L.O.V.E. these
gorgeous books,
got them for me.
"STACY, thanks so much, honey. YOU will enjoy them, too."

**********
We received great family photos from both our children...
so many wonderful gifts...
the biggest gift of all from GOD, OUR HEAVENLY FATHER,
for the family HE saw fit for us to care for on this earth.
THANK YOU, FATHER GOD
for this gift.
ANOTHER
beautiful Christmas with the people I love the most on the entire PLANET.
I AM BLESSED.

Linking with BLUE MONDAY

Oh BJ, I read this post last night but I was way too tired to comment. So I came back today to read again and look at the beautiful pictures. What a blessed family you have. They are so blessed to have you. I have been thinking alot lately about when someone tells you that how you are blessed to have such a wonderful family.
Not "you" but in general. I Love the saying...."
All because two people fell in love." Those blessings were truley gifts but "someone" made them what they are by nuturing, caring and loving. See, that's what I am trying to say. They were gifts but the blessing came from someone like YOU.

You are truly blessed in so many ways. I trust this will continue over into 2011. I enjoyed spending the day at your home with you and family.

An extended family for Christmas - one wonderful activity! As one of seven children, nothing bets Christmas Eve together, as the generations have multiplied. This year, three generations were at one of my sister’s house, and the magic never gets old! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and (all of) yours!
