I don't make it often because when I do...I could eat the entire thing, warm from the oven. You made it look so pretty with the holly! Hope you win!

I gained 5 pounds reading your post! It looks scrumptious. I have never had Monkey bread. It is on my "to do" list but I would probably eat half, I am certain.
Sue
P.S. I have always wondered why it is called monkey break.

Hello Dearheart...

It had been a little while since I've been by for a visit...wanted to come by to see how you were doing and what you've been up to, my friend! It looks like you've been a busy little bee...or maybe I should say elf! Hehe!

Mmmm...your monkey bread looks absolutely divine! Do you know, I have never...ever had monkey bread! The recipe sounds easy enough...I'm going to have to give this a try! Ohhh...and I love, love, LOVE your beautiful white Santa!!! He's gorgeous! What a beautiful table!!!

I also went through your Christmas dining room post! BJ, I love (with a capital "L") your fabulous red and white dining room! It's gorgeous!!! Your Christmas mantel is sooo beautiful...and I love the berry wreath that you hung up above! My friend, this room belongs in a magazine...it's that gorgeous!!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful Christmas home with us...it's such a treat, Darlin'!!! I hope that my note finds you and the Mr. doing well!

Warmest wishes and Christmas blessings to you and your family!

Chari @Happy To Design

PS...was going to mention that I seen your Christmas candy cane cookies! They have been a family tradition for Christmas as long as I can remember! My Grandma taught me how to make them! What sweet memories!!!

Okay, I can see the canned biscuits and the effects of the the brown sugar and butter...but I'm looking very, VERY closely....and it looks to me like you must have put the monkeys in the food processor on 'coarse chop'.....

If I were to puree my monkeys, would the taste be compromised? Wouldn't want to compromise the taste because Monkeybread looks like it tastes heavenly!

Oh Lordy, that looks sooooooooooo yummy. And I love that most of Ree's recipes are really easy to put together. I told Jimmy I'd love to have this cookbook and he told me, "Why would I buy you that when you don't use the ones you have?" He just doesn't get it :o (
But anyway, your breakfast looked divine and I hope it tasted that way too!

Justine :o )
