FUN...

I love playing BLUE MONDAY
with our sweet SMILING SALLY...
She has BLUE and a long list of others that have it, too..
*
RUBY TUESDAY
is also one of my favorites...
I LOVE RED !
WORK OF THE POET has wonderful REDS for you, along
with the list of other REDS in the neighborhood...
*
My REDS and BLUES today was made possible
by the most generous lady you can imagine....
*
I received the cute little RED BICYCLE, trimed with blue....with a basket full of RED GERANIUMS
painting from sweet ERIN over at
When the mailman left the package on my porch,
I started HYPERVENTILATING when I saw who it was from....
*

O....ERIN...I LOVE IT !!
I JUST LOVE IT !
*

ERIN is a highly talented painter located in beautiful CALIFORNIA..
She has the most delightful and beautiful blog that you
MUST visit, if you haven't already.
She also has the most caring heart given to her by our GOD..
Go over and see all her credits...her press coverage...her wonderful
step by step instructions on helping others to paint...
showing her paintings from the inspiration all around her,
in God's beauty.
*
SHE HAS A SHOP, TOO !! WOO HOO...
**
I had admired (actually COVETED) this darling painting
and much to my surprise, she gifted me with it......and I nearly DIED !!
SO AWESOME is her heart....
**

IT LOOKS as if it were MADE for SWEET NOTHINGS front porch..

THANK YOU, ERIN, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART....

isn't it just the most darling thing !!

Hi BJ,
"Well, you are so sweet I want to cry. A friend told me and my sister that she feels our ministry for the Lord is sharing our gifts from him with others. She sews adorable pillows and gives them away and lots of times to someone she does not know. We have become internet friends with a lady who is recovering from breast cancer – we met her on Fabulous Fifi’s blog, and I painted her roses and my sister, Leslie, made her a pillow with roses and we shared our gifts with her and prayed for her. We are happy that she is doing well and is now sharing her gifts from the Lord with others by supporting other women who have breast cancer with love and prayer. We have both been blessed by the Lord and feel he has opened our hearts to sharing, whether with family, friends or total stranger. We love to share and it brings us joy. "
Xo Erin

What a cute post, BJ! Loved all the blues AND the reds, too! And speaking of red, I saw some cute reds aat Marshalll's this week and thought of you. And some black and white polka dots, too! Naturally, they were in the plate area!!! You might want to check your local Marshall's and see if they have anything you didn't know you couldn't live without!

Happy Blue Monday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi BJ,

I am so happy to see the little red bicycle has such a wonderful and loving home on your adorable front porch. It looks like it was painted just to match your red brick and black and white swing cushions. I loved seeing where you hung it.
Have a wonderful week
Blessings,
Erin

Hey BJ...I think your idea of Show Us Your Signs is fabulous.....really great. BJ, I have heard so many horror stories about Mr. Linky....one of my blog friends lost her entire site...she had it backed up but it took a week to reclaim everything.

I am very creative but not the least bit technical. Yikes and good grief. But, it is a wonderful idea.....what do you think????

Ms. Erin has got some talent! What a lovely welcome sign for your porch. You took some great pictures to let us see how it all comes together so beautifully!
Having just welcomed a new grandbaby - I love the triplets image - soooo cute!

The reds are alluring starting with the mundane (bricks) to the colorful (bicycle) to the nature's own artistic touches (ruby flowers). An inviting porch for simple (or profound) conversation among friends. Beauty is not just external, but truly comes from within!

That is such a cute cute sign! I'll have to go have a look around her shop. Those triplets are so sweet!

I'm sorry it's too hot for you to grow Hydrangeas. I wish everyone could grow everything they wanted! I'd grow lilacs which don't do well in Georgia but which I just love!

Hi BJ, please tell me you won't go to jail. Lord have mercy. BIG smile here. I steal stuff from the internet all the time. Unless it has a patent it's available. I HOPE!!!
Your are a lucky girl to receive such sweet gifts, but on top of that you are sweet and we love you. I love your red and blue but then I love all of your posts. So what's new??? The babies are just the cutest little things ever.

Boy, it is late and I better go to bed. We have been on the road all day. We now are in Grand Junction, Colorado. A new adventure.
