OH, WHAT A LITTLE BIT OF CUTE RIBBON CAN DO.....
I fell in LUV with this cute ribbon that I picked up on our CANTON trip last month...
I wondered what I might do with it to SHOW OFF IT'S PURE CUTE.....
THEN...
one day I saw the above basket with some adorable RIBBON and FELL IN LUV again.
This belongs to my sweet friend, KITTY.
I saw it....and thought.....HEY....
"I've got a really cute basket....
nooo, the WELCOME sign isn't a
beautiful RAMSIGN like KITTY'S....
but it has a metal WELCOME sign that is pretty darn cute, too....."
This wouldn't be my first time to copy a cute hanging basket...
PAT turned out this beauty and I had to COPY IT, TOO,
to hang on my front porch.
sooo. I got out that CANTON ribbon and went to work
TWEAKING an already cute basket....
now....how cute is THIS...???
..... cute KNOTS doesn't hurt the looks of this basket, either....:)
The fun thing....
I have ribbon LEFT OVER
so I can make something else really cute
THANK YOU, KITTY,
for the great inspiration.
Now, hurry up and tie some
RIBBON on something else so I can COPY CAT you again.
hahhhaa...

ReplyDeleteRe: Your comment on my new "do"..
ReplyDeleteWanting to tried a "spiked" look. Go for it. I did, a few years ago, when I had a tiny bit more hair.
It's fun!!!!!!!!!!
And as far as growing out, you just brush it to the side, when it no longer works, "spiked."
You have nice thick hair and will look sooooooooooooooo trendy and "with-it"!!!!
BJ,
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a nicer compliment than to have somebody to copy cat an idea!!! Thank you, once again, BJ for sharing my Spring basket. . .and for showing us a new, improved idea for those baskets!!! You are the sweetest COPY CAT'er I know!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Hi BJ! Oh, you're a great copy cat! :) The ribbon is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love your new header and there is that little chicken I crocheted. I think they are just hoots! You've made her look so sweet in your vignette. I'm going to start calling you the 'header queen' - that didn't sound right, did it? :) Well, you're good at making your headers.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Wow, BJ, that ribbon is way cool. I've never seen anything like it. Thank you for sharing all the great photos of the original baskets and the things you did for yourself. You are a great decorator. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog today. I really appreciate any comments.
