Here's To Ya...

I seem to be using this photo of a
AUDREY HEPBURN  quote in several posts lately.

I love it so much that I want to get a poster....A PRETTY POSTER...
and have it framed for my bedroom.

SOMEtimes, when we have a few strawberries that are "soft" and might not make it another couple days,
I gather the good stuff
and make us a little milkshake.

Just a few little goodies added...
a tiny scoop of
sweetener...

a cap full of VANILLA.....

scoops of ice cream...
...for these, I had only a couple of small scoops of ice cream...

I've had the RED WHITE and BLUE on my mind a lot this week.

...maybe because the 4th is right around the corner and all my magazines are showing
THE COLORS....

I "raise my cup" to you today and hope that you have a wonderful day.

  3. I happen to love that Hepburn quote and want it framed around here. I keep saying that, but I never do it.

I have been drinking a lot of strawberries and cream (almond milk, here) smoothies lately. So cool, and so good!

  10. These look so delicious and refreshing! And very patriotic!!

Thanks for putting up the poll on the Paula Deen happenings...totally unfair and I'm so glad so many of your readers agree. She is being burned at the stake.

    XO,

  11. Shh, don't tell anyone, but I just had some ice cream with strawberries! It was a wonderful, nearly-midnight snack. :)

The smoothie looks very tasty, too!

Btw, I voted the last time I was here on your sidebar. I think they are treating Paula very unfairly. There is such a double standard these days. Where's the outrage over the things Bill M.aher says on his show?

I've always loved Audrey's quotes. She was a classy lady.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  16. Those strawberry milkshakes look so refreshing. Since the strawberries came ripe last week, there's been nothing but steady rain and so they are rotting in the fields. Such a waste! Poor farmers who invest so much into them and get nothing in return. Sigh. I need a happy pill...maybe a strawberry milkshake.
