I Found A New Snack.....

Hello, Sister Friends...

sure hope things are going good for you.... we had a little rain...just enuf to make us all feel SOOO good.

During the soft rain, I got hungry for a SNACK...
what IS it about a sudden, gentle rain that makes me hungry....???

ANYway....

Needed something SWEET and SALTY at the same time...

Tweak SALTINE CRACKERS with NUTELLA...

Certainly nothing FANCY, at all....

but, gosh, it's sooo good.

Here is the RECIPE.....
...........................(a recipe...hahhaaaa)

Get out your favorite crackers...
then, get out the jar of NUTELLA...

A knife....
An ADORABLE PLATE
is a
MAIN INGREDIENT....

A CUP TO MATCH, of COURSE !!
Now, fill that cute cup with your favorite HOT DRINK....
yes, ma'am...a flavored tea....DELISH
your favorite coffee....LUSCIOUS

add a large scoop of COFFEE ICE CREAM and you reach
MAGNIFICENT.

O O O.....did you notice....that cup has
IT'S VERY OWN SPOON....
waaay cute...
and, would you believe,
I got these little cuties for a DOLLAR each at
DOLLAR GENERAL.
...amazing....

So....
the next time a SWEET/SALTY something crosses your mind and you are fresh
out of something SWEET....or....SALTY,
AND ya like crackers....
and you like Nutella....
give 'em a try.
Really really delicious...:)

Of COURSE, you COULD eat the Nutella with a SPOON for SWEET...:)
but,......no salt.....SOOO, don't ya dare deviate from this recipe....

And, eating just one plate full will turn YOU, TOO, into that beautiful silhouette on my cup....:>)

Excuse me now....
I AM GOING SHOPPING...
...can't help it...
I WAS BORN TO DO IT...!!

Oh, BJ, you have the BEST recipes! I will try this one - being sure to gather all the ingredients before starting. It's important to follow directions!

We love Nutella around here. In fact, I dare not keep it in the house because we love it so much. I love this idea because they sell those little portions of it at the cash register nowadays so I could have a snack without it causing a three day binge.

I am going to stop by the Dollar General closest to me (we have about 5 in this one town) and see if they have those cute dishes and mugs. They would make a perfect mug for a little gift.

I saw Nutella and had to come over to see what you're about ;).

I can't say I care too much for it but I need to have it in the pantry - now, I'm making up as I don't have a pantry ahahahah - because both my kids feel the urge to dip the Nutella pot from time to time. My oldest (boy) likes it in bread but dear daughter likes it just the way you did it with something salty.

Hope all is well with you. Love,
T

Well, my dear friend ... here you are tempting me again to shop or eat. Love the cute little plate and cup, but do not know about Nutella, but if you recommend it, it must be good. Cute post and great pictures.

You reminded me of one of my favorite snacks as a little girl...my mom would put butter on a saltine and sprinkle it with a little sugar. I thought it was so special. It was probably easy and inexpensive...but, she made it seem like a real treat! Your plate and cup are darling!

We can't get the rain to stop...wish I could send some your way.

Oh...my sweet. Kick it up a notch. You deserve it!
Nutella and Graham Crackers. Just another thing I have on my list of foods I want for my last meal should I find myself on death row.

Well if I don't already have those two ingredients in the pantry, but never thought to pair them. Of course with that plate and cup they would taste even better! You are too adorable BJ!

I have heard of Nutella but..I don't know..I opt for peanut butter every time when it comes to saltines.
Question. Do your saltines taste like they used to? Mine are right from the store and the taste isn't the issue...it's that they turn to ..mush when I bite into them..and they didn't used to do that.
GREAT snack! Wish we had some of that there rain!!!

I'm not a fan of Nutella, it's peanut butter or nothing for me, but I do like the sweet and salty combo, so will often top a peanut butter cracker with chocolate sprinkles.

Hi BJ
I am getting caught up on all your postsI have missed over the past few months. I love Nutella and have been known just to scoop it out of the jar with a spoon which is why we seldom have it in the house. Saltine crackers are a perfect match!
Good luck with selling your house. Real estate has really picked up here. Hope it is good where you are too! Praying that it sells soon.
