I've been looking for one.

 I really REALLY wanted a large, faux
tree for my new dining room that is almost a SUN ROOM....


but, everywhere I looked...they were over $100 bucks...

ONE HUNDRED BIG ONES !!

Mercy....my Social Security Budget
does NOT allow for such foolishness...

and THEN.....
THE SALVATION ARMY THRIFT STORE
came to my rescue....

Isn't she a BEAUT....!!!

Someone told me it's an OLIVE tree....
ya think ??

...I'm excited...!!

 It will look smashing in this wonderful room with a lot of windows and  2 double french doors.

(am I EVER gonna get MOVED...?...we have a couple that want the house really bad...
but THEY have to sell THEIR house first...
this is such a nerve-wracking business !!)

 THE TREE is taking residence in my OLDEN dining room for the time being...

and looking mighty fine, too !!




The tree and wicker loveseat
are on the wall where
my vintage fireplace mantel once stood....

the mantel has already been moved to the NEW DIGS....:)

This pretty thing, over 7 ft. tall,

was marked $14.95...

I sucked my breath in so hard, I almost choked to death, right there in 

The Salvation Army Thrift Shop.

I think I remember some lady asking if I needed a drink of water...or some
oxygen, maybe....

But, the grand surprise came when I got to the checkout stand and the checker said, "it's marked down to $12.99"

WHAT A DEAL !!

I'll be looking for a pretty, large

basket to put it in...

 I'd LUV a basket much like this
POTTERY BARN one but at
$129.00,
I'll have to pass !!

Maybe TARGET will have a nice
copy cat basket...they are good at
copying POTTERY BARN. :))
