Cute lil' animals...Real and NOT SO REAL....

My good blogging friend, AUNTIE, loves dragons...

She got the cutest stuffed DRAGON toy for her birthday..
I told Auntie that I loved that she had never really grown up all the way
and I was glad 'cause I want to hang out with her in NEVER NEVER LAND...

She has the photo listed below on her sidebar and I thought, WHAT ????....a real little dragon....

...a baby DRAGON...??

So, Are dragons real?

Yes, well kind of.

This bizarre animal is called the Draco Volans, also known as the Flying Dragon, and can be found in the Southwest Tropical forests of Asia and India.

This “Baby Dragon”, is a member of the gliding lizards Draco.

In order to move from one tree to the next, these bizarre animals can spread out folds of skin attached to its movable ribs to form “wings” and glide over 160 ft!

When one of my grandsons, DREW,  was a little tiny boy, he, too, loved DRAGONS. We watched
DRAGONHEART over and over for a solid year.
Hahaaa....cute little movie, tho....and I so love the memories with him,  all curled up in my lap, eating popcorn and drinkin' a coke. :>)

DRAGONS AREN'T REAL...
but they are REAL F.U.N.

Now, THIS is real...a real little baby orangutan...
he is absolutely sooo stinkin' cute...
look at those round eyes...
and that round mouth...and I always love those little wrinkles underneath their eyes...

When I was a little girl, you could order a monkey...a SPIDER monkey, off the back
of funny books...I wanted one sooo bad but my sweet little mama couldn't
stand the thought of having a LIVE monkey in the house.
hahhaaa...
NOW, I see where she was coming from...
I don't want a monkey in my house, either.

...but, if I could keep a baby elephant LITTLE, I would want one for my back yard.
This is REAL...and so are those little duckies, I am thinking.

Now, AUNTIE had this cutie on her blog and....

I just flat stole it...

sooo cute.....

but....

not real...

just
REAL COOL !!...

lying all back on that lily pad with his little arms folded across that little fat belly.

Look how cute this little baby GAZELLE has his front feet all folded back..
If I tried that, my legs would break totally OFF...

THIS little monkey....REAL...
look at those hands...and NAILS.....is that a monkey or another breed...??

MARTHA at MID-ALANTIC MARTHA had this sooo cute CHICK, peeping out over an egg on her beautiful EASTER TABLE.
NOT REAL...but REAL CUTE.

CUISINE KATHLEEN made this amazing BUNNY for Easter.
Nooo,
it's not REAL...
but I am more than sure it was REAL GOOD.

I absolutely laughed out loud at the following photo....

Is this not the most adorable photo of REAL little baby piggies you've ever seen ??
Lynn at HAPPIER THAN A PIG IN MUD had these cutie- pies on HER blog and
I just flat stole it, too.
I really would like to have it made into a poster but.......
guess I'll just keep looking at THIS photo.
sooo cute.

 A cute little LEOPARD baby...
and some cute LEOPARD cupcake liners...

That leopard baby is REAL...
those cupcake liners are REAL...

...and you can bet those MIXED BERRY MUFFINS
are FOR SURE, FOR REAL.

Thanks to all the ladies for coming up with some of these amazingly CUTE photos...
and not getting mad at me for stealing borrowing them......
Lots of fun...

Those are some amazing animals there, bj. I really thought that little dragon thing was not a real animal at all. AMAZING. Love the little elephant and they are just darling in real life. Hope you have a good weekend- xo Diana

(You would not believe what is showing up for an ad today. I shouldn't even mention it..."belly fat." Oh I do hate those ads with a passion. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.)

Moving right along, Auntie always finds the cutest things...in fact, for just a moment there, I thought that I'd clicked on the wrong blog. Ha!

My father always wanted a monkey. We girls would join in the dreams, too, though Mother always held her ground. I hadn't realized that you could order them from the back of a comic book. Gosh. No wonder so many kids were dreaming.

All the animals and other creatures are just darling. Of course the muffins looked yummy. In my little corner of Alabama it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. I will get outdoors and putter around the yard. Have a blessed day. Madeline

I love all animals, especially baby ones! They are so adorable. And no bacon bits for me - I'm a vegetarian! Those little pigs would have a home forever with me!

Thanks so much for joining in this week!

Love the variety of animals. But I will just have a muffin. I am not up to cleaning after them. I do love all animals though.

Baby animals are heart stealers! You could sell any kind of animal to anyone at 6-8 weeks of age! I made a not real "crocodile cake" for a grandchild this past summer. It was VERY green with corn candy teeth.

Cute!I'm still laughing about the 'bacon bits' photo :-)

I wanted to order sea monkeys from the back of the comic books, but had no idea how to place an order. I'm pretty sure they didn't come wearing clothes, crowns and living in a castle, like they indicated, so I guess it's better that I didn't know how.

I didn't realize that the cute itty bitty dragon was a picture of a real live creature until today. It's adorable. I believe that a monkey is the only animal that I did not want as a pet when I was a child. They did (and still do) freak me out. I wouldn't like to even touch one, and I've handled snakes, baby possums, mice, bats, and shrews. I was always rescuing critters from our cats when I was a kid.

Thanks so much for showing my cake! I wished I had brought a slice or two home with us for the next day!

I loved L's little piggies, and I am about to have a slice of bacon with my egg white!
Have a great Sunday, BJ!

Cute animal photos! I remember the frog from Aunties and thought it was the cutest thing. And, don't tell anyone, but I thought it was real at first...LOL!

Oh my all the cute little critters. Now I'm gonna steal from you. That dragon thingy was neat and the frog oh I must send the frog to a fellow co-worker. She's not impressed with much green be it peas or frogs. She'll squeal like bacon bits. LOL I'm so mean.
Oh and I like the new header on your blog.

Those animals (real and pretend) are all so adorable, BJ! Each picture is cuter than the last. I'm very glad to hear that you're safe.. I hope no one you know was injured or effected by the terrible event in West, TX. Take care.
