Mystery Shadows.....

Hi, everyone.
We are STILL fighting this respiratory virus....
I had not had a cold or ANY kind of sickness in over 2 yrs and
THIS ONE knocked both of us FOR A LOOP.
 BAD BAD BAD

This morning, I happened to notice the shadow play along
one wall of our living room.

Just LOOK at all these ovals....All over the place...

We could not find ANYthing that would seemingly make these shadows on our wall.

NOW...I've heard of orbs (?) that some folks describe as SPIRITS....
While I don't  subscribe to this idea,
it has made me spend extra time trying to figure out WHAT these are
and WHERE they are coming from.

Mr. Sweet says I am watching too many
"My GHOST STORY" episodes on TV...

I LOVE watching that tv show...

and "NOTORIOUS"...
Notorious is scary as can be....
people killed....missing....booooo
I just watched the episode on the escaped convicts known as
THE TEXAS SEVEN
and it was very interesting.
 ******************************************
Notorious, a bold and gritty series that examines the country's most infamous criminals by taking you through the real-life case studies and evidence.

AND...

(and, .....shhhhh.....don't mention it to Mr. Sweet,
but, I just realized that I haven't seen my across -the -street neighbor lady in over a week...
but her husband still comes and goes.... )
O DEAR....
(How silly can I get ?....I think I am DELIRIOUS !! )

  2. They look look a reflection off the end of the blinds. You notice on the right of the blinds, there is a whole row of them. Moving and the cold has gotten to you and Mr. Sweet. But you are going to be just fine.

  6. Hi bj,
I loved your post and hope you and your hubby are feeling better soon. My hubby and I succumbed for three weeks. He missed one full week of work which is not like him. I am back in the pink after several weeks.
I am chuckling about your neighbor...I, too...am the "Gladys Cravitts" of the neighborhood. I'm always keeping an eye out for anything strange. We don't have tv and I'm still that way.
    Thanks for your cute post!
    Smiles,
    Carolynn xoxo

  7. HA! bj, your mystery shadows made me smile. Your house looks kind of empty. I do pray you will both feel much better soon. Bill has been fighting a cold for over three weeks. Rest a lot and eat chicken soup. Smile.

    Love and hugs, Jeanne

  8. Let's certainly hope so! LOL! Hope that you find the reason for the ovals because now I won't be able to sleep for wondering.

  9. Oh dear! If I was there I would be ladling out the home made chicken soup. I swear it has mysterious healing properties. I'm praying for you and Mr Sweet. Try to rest and let yourself heal. I know you must feel pressured to get this move over and done, but you need rest!

  14. Sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. I've escaped so far this winter. I hope you are on the mend and up and at it soon.
Your shadows are very pretty. I love it when they make their own beauty in the home by filtering through my shutters. It's always lovely.

  19. I'm glad you both are on the mend. My daughter developed pneumonia from it.

It is good to have a child-like sense of wonder! Cool shadows.

Orbs are the dust particles that show up in photos, and they seem to be common in desert shots indoors and out. If one crops them they look like mandalas. I'm guessing their form has something to do with pi.

  21. I did not know that you two, have been ill!!!!! A respiratory virus is the pits!!!

Since moving stuff and dust, aggrivates me, wonder if all the moving and etc., you have been doing, with the move.... Got your lungs irritated enough, that a virus came along and settled right in?????

I do hope you are fighting it, with doc things and over the counter. And rest. That's another thing! You've been going so much, doing so much, with the move, that you both are probably tired. -sigh-

"Auntie" fell down on the job, in not reminding you to not get too tired out. Tsk, tsk, tsk me.

Oh and your *addiction* to what-happened-shows, is so cute! -gigggles-

    Hugs...

  22. OMG! Sounds like you both have what I do. It is sooooo not fun. Please rest, lots of fluid, orange juice and Chocol....er,....chicken soup.
What ever you see or notice that is unexplainable around the house...I see the same. And I just accept it knowing that it either isn't real or that it is harmless. God is in charge so there is nothing to fear. Thank you for caring as you do. You ROCK!

  23. bj and Mr.Sweet, I have been praying for you. I know how bad that virus can be. Take care. Wish you had some of my 'cure-all' chicken-noddle soup. We just finished a big pot of it and of course with cornbread.
    Love your shadow pictures.
    God bless,

I'm sure you will find out what the shadows are.
I also love all the scary shows.

  25. Interesting series of shadow play from the blinds!
What software enables you to write on your photos, I wonder? I was wondering if it really helps to get a
flu shot - crossed fingers, so far so good having had one!

  26. I hope you feel better soon! And your hubby too! I have a feeling those shadows just maybe spiderwebs. What that you say? You have no spider webs!? But wait, you have been sick and resting and so on, and those spiders have had time to weave those wee little webs. Just a guess!

  27. Hmmmmmmmmm I think those orbs are shadows off the chair at the desk in front of the blinds. We have leaded glass in the middle of our front door and it throws shadows of other things all over the place sometimes. Whatever they are though - they look really cool! Hope you feel better soon. Hugs!

  29. BJ,
Dear friend, so sorry that you're still battling this cold!!! Your "ovals" appear to have tree branches or limb shadows. Keep looking. . .there's a reasonable explanation to your shadows on the wall! I'm sure of it!!!
    Get better, soon!
    Fondly,
    Pat
