I can remember when my dining room VINTAGE mantel was so neat....
not overloaded...just CLEAN, CRISP lines.
Yes, I remember my COPY CAT of the pretty, Layla....
Her mantel was so beautiful
and I knew I had MOST of the ingredients of this almost ALL white...
soooo
my version came out so well.

Then, I played around with different treasures.
It is always so much fun to decorate a fireplace mantel...
just love it...
and, if you are manteless :)...a large, hefty SHELF works just as good.....
or the top of a piano.
So much fun to decorate at CHRISTMASTIME...
and
spring and summer brings on a lot more ideas to use in a wonderful
warm-weather
display....
...did I PACK those awesome shoe stretchers....
or
are they on their way to
*gulp....

just waiting for some KNOCK MY SOXS OFF cuteness....

It will happen. SOmetimes the across town or the slow moves are the worse. I know watching you makes me want to stay put. How much fun you will have making this new space your new sweet home. When is the open house for all of us to attend so I can get my plane ticket. (((((HUGS))))0
ReplyDeleteOh, yes you will! We have moved so many times during our military life, I know exactly what you are feeling about right now. I lived 23 years looking inside cardboard boxes for my "pretties". You will get it all done and back to normal very soon. By the way, I am hosting a new Link party today on my blog.
