Ready for Summer

I start looking for the ICE CREAM FAIRY along about May.
I love ice cream all the time but ESPECIALLY
SUMMERTIME  ICE CREAM....
NOTHING says summer like a big bowl of ICE CREAM.
CHERRY PIE and VANILLA BEAN ICE CREAM
is  HAAAARD  to beat.
I like SHERBERT as much as ice cream...
the limes and oranges and lemons.....ummmmm

Not sure how THIS photo of cute flowers got mixed in here....maybe it's the sherbert colors?
I wish I REALLY owned an ice cream company....
Wouldn't that be a good thing to own !!
The above sundae was made by one of the twins a few years back.
 A  COFFEE milkshake.....
my fav....
Glass of coffee ice cream, a cap full of Vanilla
and fill it up with milk....
O HONEY

AND, OF COURSE....

The Infamous
ROOT BEER FLOAT
or
COKE FLOAT....
which ever
FLOATS YOUR BOAT.
:>)

Another favorite ice cream treat is
RASPBERRY SHERBERT with 7-UP...
It is so tasty and sooo refreshing and I wish I had one this very minute. :)

...another SUMMERTIME treat...

CATE
the great grandgirl....
Her little face SAYS  IT  ALL....
she seems to be thinking.....
"I'm so ready for summertime FUN."

I hope you have an

The coffee shake sounds wonderful! I love iced coffee too, soI know the shake would hit the spot. My grandmothers specialty was vanilla ice cream with 7-up pured over, very light and refreshing on a hot day. It was our treat after we mowed the lawn or came in fromt he field on a hot day:>)

That coffee milkshake is going to happen here real soon - thanks for the suggestion!

One of my grandfathers was an ice cream man - a kids dream come true :-) I still love the sparkle bars.

Um, yum! It all looks cool and refreshing. I love the coffee flavor and I love mango sorbet.

Just look at your Cate. She is a doll!♥

I love ice cream, too! I've requested a Cuisinart Soft Serve ice cream machine for my birthday. We'll see how that goes. People around here don't always listen - but if I don't get it, I'll buy one! :-) Because I like ice cream cones and it dispenses them! :-)

I love Root Beer floats. My Grandpa used to make them in the summer and we would sit on the porch on those hot metal chairs watching the world go by. I tell you, those memories can't get much better!

I made root beer floats last night...first of the year. These are my favorite way to eat ice cream. Paula Deen made a coffee and ice cream sundae on her show this week. A few scoops of ice cream, pour coffee along the side of the ice cream, drizzle with choc. sauce, top with real whipped cream, and a cherry of course. Her husband said it was the best cup of coffee he'd ever had.
Your new header is so cute...I love it.

Your little great grandgirlie's swimsuit is so cute and she's so cute.

How can you discuss ice cream? Hmmm??? The coffee shake can be made with fewer calories if you use iced coffee instead of milk for liquid. ;> Do you care? I think not!

We have a little place here that is only open from late March until October. They have ice cream, but also the best nonfat frozen yogurt and it actually tastes good. I have started bringing home quarts of it so that I don't have to drive across town every time I have a craving! My favorite, if I could have anything I wanted...Chocolate almond ice cream with hot fudge and real whipping cream! Yummo!

BJ,
Slow down, dear friend...it's a whole month until Summer officially begins! My favorite is the A & W Frosty Mug Taste..Root Beer Float!!! As a child, my folks would take us to a local ice cream establishment...The Purple Cow...Grape pop over ice cream! Don't knock it if you haven't tried it! It's delicious!!!
Fondly,
Pat
P.S. Move over Cate...make room for GG,BJ!!! She's adorable!!!
