I really like the top photo over the bridge!!
The feeling here is of a period like the Old West, the rocky stream and wooden walkways the clue (to me anyway :). It is a rugged style that seems before the 20th Century. The clean Rockies air is nice, too, Agreed, winter is probably not the season to visit (given today's blizzard), but the other three are!

Photos of shadows are always so intriquing to me. I adore the song, "Me and My Shadoow" and remember playing shadow tag in my youth! Cute post!
