I LOVE PINNING...♥

  TWO GREAT PARTIES TODAY...

OUR sweet friend, NATASHA of 5 MINUTES JUST FOR ME
got a great JUMP START on hosting a fabulous
PINNING PARTY.

We are all LOVING to pin and how smart NATASHA is to know that
we will all LOVE having a place to show off the pins we each love.
TINA'S adorable chair
I think this is just about the cutest thing, ever, SISSIE
You MUST go over to SEE how she did this amazing and
vintage looking PIE SAFE.
Isn't this just about the COOLEST chicken coop...
I'm going to ask MR. SWEET to build me one but I KNOW before I ask that
his eyes will roll so far back in his head, he may never see again !

It's also time for
SATURDAY CENTUS with Mizz Jenny
 Our prompt this week is
LAUGH OUT LOUD...
we are able to use UP TO 50 words, plus the 3 in the prompt...
AND we may use a photo...
YAY....fun fun..
"When I was just a little girl,
my favorite place..... the zoo.
My daddy always took me there...
I think he loved it, too."

The way the zebras moved their mouths,
it looked like they were laughin'.
I'd laugh out loud, just watching them,
and they'd laugh right back, I'm thinkin'.
♥♥
This is another TRUE little ditty as, every summer,
I would visit my daddy in Dallas and the
very first place he took me was to THE DALLAS ZOO.

Thanks for coming by...
to see some awesome PINS.
and stop over at SATURDAY CENTUS
to check out some real talent.
xoxo bj

Hi BJ~ I love pinning too! Now I have a daughter hooked. OL just what I needed another computer "waste" of time! Oh, but its so fun and addicting, And I get inspired!
I love the chicken coop. I think it would be grand to have laying Chickens. I would never be able (nor want) hens to butcher, but laying hens would be good. I do love me some eggs! My Hubby would also roll his eyes.
Love to you, have a Blessed weekend and Happy Pinning!

I haven't had much time to work with Pinterest. Xanti chided me the other day for having nothing on my boards. Busy summer and now with our daughter hospitalized and Gabi staying with us for a few days my time is even more limited. Perhaps when Michelle improves and is released and Gabi goes home next week I will get a minute. I keep telling myself to take a little time to work with pinning. However, the 50th class reunion is coming up and I am doing the table centerpieces! Yep, it's been a busy summer alright!!LOL

Oh, BJ what a sweet memory and well done Centus !

You brought back memories for me of my Dad taking us to the Zoo. It was our time to just be with him ( Mom stayed home )He worked long hours, often not coming home until we were asleep so those times are very special, even more now since he's gone.

Cute, heartwarming story! Good childhood memories are fun to share even if you don't know someone because everyone was a kid once!

The zoo was always a treat for me, too as a child. I still love petting zoos! Not sure I would want to own chickens though...I hear they make quite a mess and smell. They are cute as babies, though.

I haven't tried pinning. I am afraid I'd never stop!!

XO,
Jane

I was going to tell you I got lost with the pinning thing but then I read Pat's comment. Phew. Dodged a bullet there. Nice pins, by the way.

You zoo poem was so sweet; straight from the heart of a child.

I want a chicken coop, but I dont think the HOA would approve.

I've had pet chickens before and they are lots of fun and eat LOTS of bugs and slugs.

Have a great weekend.

I do my own "pinning" by keeping pics in a few folders in my email. I haven't gotten into Pinterest yet... BUT, I DO love that chicken coop! I would love to buy a couple of chicks, I've always wanted a chick. Believe it or not, they used to sell chicks in the Florist's when I was little in the 60's, living in Brooklyn! Isn't that crazy? BUT, I always wanted one when I was little and my mother and father (who gave me everything, I was an only child) said, "NO! A chick grows into a Chicken!" I was devastated. How could they deprive me???? So I'd love a chick or two, and then have a coop and then get some fresh eggs! See, I have a plan! I live in Conn. now, so it IS feasible. ;)
Well, thanks for letting me reminisce! Sorry for going on and on!
Best,
Gloria
