SHADOWS

I love playing in HEY HARRIET 'S
SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY
Mr. Sweet and myself on a GLACIER in ALASKA, last summer.
Only shadows playing across his vest...
MR. SWEET'S sweet shadow, walking along the magnificent GLACIER.
"My shadow is what happens when, by getting to my feet, I place myself between the Sun and the Earth. It is the consequence upon the Earth of my standing here under the Sun."
Slight shadows playing around his eyes...
  I am happy to play in
and since these photos were published before,
Love

Sweet shadows... I'm sure that there's an analogy there somewhere, too. It must be fun to remember your Alaska trip this summer in all the nasty heat Texas has been having. Can you close your eyes and pretend that you're on that glacier again? (Love the twinkle in your hubby's eye in that last photo. He clearly was having a great time.)

The shadows fall nicely upon the glacier, the vacationers having a grand time. The shaows falling under the brim of the hat show a happy person, in love with the surroundings, and especially with the spouse...the weather in AK is a bit cooler than west Texas I would say...

Alaska is such a pretty place. I would love to go. Looks like you had a great time! You always write the sweetest posts!

I GOT A CAST IRON SKILLET TODAY! I will be making your fabulous biscuits in it tomorrow! I am so excited about it!

Isn't that last shot taken from the top of the Space Needle? (Looks like it was relatively calm the day you were up there.)

SHADOW DANCE

Shadows here and shadows there,
Shadows, shadows everywhere!
Shadows left and shadows right;
Shadows dancing through the night!
Shadows crouching on the wall;
Shadows spring and shadows fall
On the unsuspecting guest,
Who thought shadows offered rest!

Weren't you afraid the sun would melt the glacier?

I'd be thinking that as I made my way across it! haha

Your hubby looks like a great guy!

Thanks for stopping by, BJ. Hope you have a great weekend.

Love those great shots; shadows are not always easy to capture, my huband often talks of visiting Alaska.
