FRIENDSHIP...The Sweetest Gift

"Anybody can sympathise (sympathize) with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires a very fine nature to sympathise (sympathize)  with a friend's success."
- Oscar Wilde
The Sweetest Gift...
sounds like FRIENDSHIP to me.
"A hug is worth a thousand words. A friend is worth more."
"I get by with a little help from my friends."
- John Lennon
"The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches,
but to reveal to him, his own."
-Benjamin Disraeli

"Friends are the Bacon Bits in the Salad Bowl of Life."
- "Pizza Place Sign",
"We are all angels with only one wing...we can fly only embracing each other."
I am truly blessed to have so many good friends..

and in BLOGLAND...
we had such a good time at our meeting.

There is one that I use often, with friends that try to "not bother" you with their problems...

Such a "sweet" post in several ways. Very nice quotes and thoughts-you have many friends because you are a friend to many. Have a nice week. Mickie :)

Love this post, the quotes, and the candy.

Here is a little trick with soft peppermint sticks. I learned this as a Brownie leader nearly 40 years ago. Before we took little hikes, we pierced oranges with these soft peppermint sticks. We filled large plastic bags with these oranges. As we got thirsty while hiking we "sipped" the juice through the peppermint sticks. BJ, that was the most delicious and refreshing treat along the trail.

Hi BJ, This is a very good post on friendship and candy! Well, really about friendship but hey, the candy makes for cute photos too. You really have splendid photographic composition skills, my friend! Have a great week!
Blessings, Beth

Wonderful pictures of friendship both in photos and quotes. As you know, to have a friend you must be one and I think your friends find a great friend in you.

These mints are a brilliant orange hue - like the sun, maybe, with the white adding the scattered clouds. My imagination may be getting the better of me...

Good friends are so important - not large in number but true always. Lovely friends you have, and true always!

Hi bj, I love all the quotes and random pictures which all work so well together, but the most striking quote bringing tears, is the one at the top from Gloria Naylor. Do we ever stop missing our Dad? Linda
