ARMED FORCES DAY

This is the day on which we have the welcome opportunity to pay special tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces ... to all the individuals who are in the service of their country all over the world. Armed Forces Day won't be a matter of parades and receptions for a good many of them. They will all be in line of duty and some of them may give their lives in that duty.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the
freedom you are fighting for.
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

  5. Oh my gracious! I forgot Armed Forces Day.

'Course, every day we should remember and thank all our Military. All our Warriors. And their familys, who support them, by keeping the home fires burning while they are away.

  19. BJ, how wonderful! My father served in WWII and I am so proud to say that and so proud for those who are so willing to serve and put their lives on the line. One of my neighbors has a boy that is in the Navy Seal's unit that got Bin Laden (SP?). How terrifying for that family and yet we need young men and women like that who are so willing to lay down everything for their country.
