...morning tea

Rerun today of a favorite....
I can't think of much that would be better than having
TEA IN BED...

"COME INTO MY BEDROOM SAID THE SPIDER TO THE FLY"
Oh....I know it's really "come into my parlor"....:))
humor me !!
:)

...beautiful yellow ROSES..
The Yellow Rose of Texas..!!
How much better can it get....well, unless you might want to add...
ummmm....SEAN CONNERY to the mix !!
(blush beet red!)
well......who WOULDN'T wanna have a cup of tea with MR. CONNERY ???

A beautiful teacup and saucer given to me all the way from
THE LITTLE RED HOUSE by it's Mistress MARY !
Thanks again, Mary...it's one of the most beautiful tea cups I've ever seen.

Little DARK, RICH CHOCOLATE wafers..
I could eat the entire whole box all by myself..!
I love how it matches those pillows...
Even the RED POMEGRANATE TEA matches....
;>)
I still love my little thrifted WHITE tea pot...
Oh....and I have a special teacup...just for YOU ...
So hurry on over....

I'll just hang out here... sipping tea and reading a few lines in this cute
little garage sale find...
...and, don't worry....
I PROMISE to try not to eat all the COOKIES before you get here.....
I'll really try.....
BUT REMEMBER...
"All is fair in CHOCOLATE and war..."
*
OH...I KNOW it's 'LOVE and war..."
just humor me!!
:O)

This tea in bed looks like springtime. I can just imagine the open window and the birds singing as the morning sun comes in through the window. Cookies and tea for breakfast, what's wrong with that?

I would love to join you for tea, but it might get a little crowded with Mr. Connery in there.

You've painted a very lovely picture, my dear. What a way to start the week!

BJ,
I'd really rather have tea with you than "Mr. Connery" (never was a huge fan of his) anyday! Thank you for your sweet visits and ask Martha about that cake...I believe she asid it was a mix!
Fondly,
Pat
P.S. Hint: That's not ALL the bunnies...more to come, soon!

Your tea in bed is so romantic and beautiful amd the lace piece with the teapot is perfect for the tray. I love those cookies and could eat a whole box, too., but maybe we should share. LOL. Have a lovely tea party with Sean.

That spoon is perfect. Great spot for tea.

Scoot over, BJ! You have to share that spot with a lot of company. Chuckle! What an elegant inviting sweet bib! Love that gorgeous rose.

Sean Connery in your bedroom sipping tea? Is he going to read Charlotte's Web, too? Cause if he is, just move over and make me some room. ☺

I would be delighted to join you for tea. The cookies look delicious (and I know they are because I have a box myself{) and the pomegranate tea sounds refreshing.

Charlotte's Web is one of my favorite books from childhood.

You have created a very welcoming tea!

This breakfast in bed looks so inviting. I love the lace cloth with the teapot image. Both of those are amazing teacups.

And while I have 12 of many things, I have many singleton cups and saucers.
