Simple table for a simple breakfast...

I LOVE starting my day with a new magazine..
and even better if I have TWO new ones...
:)
..just playing around with photos in
PHOTOSCAPE...
 No fancy CENTERPIECE this morning..
just my pretty, juicy oranges...
morning orange juice in my vintage, tiny little glass...
...my loved vintage golden yellow flatware...
A pretty little candle just makes EVERYthing taste a little better..
I always feel very blessed to have
fresh fruit
for breakfast.

  1. IT looks like a lovely breakfast setting BJ. Love the black and white checked place mats. Sadly, my breakfast is usually me sitting in a chair in the living room, reading the paper, drinking a cup of coffee and eating a piece of toast....and trying to balance everything!
    Hugs,
    Penny

  4. That fruit looks so good, BJ. I didn't get fresh fruit in and snow is on it's way again!

Love your simple table for a simple breakfast. So pretty, as always.

We are so fortunate to have someone come in and paint. This is a father and son. Jim has known the father since high school. His daughter cuts our hair. He gives us very good bids. They are superb painters. I know for sure we would not be able to do it. One ceiling is 10 foot, the others are 9 and the hearth room has a 17 foot hip. The living room is 17 feet, too. J's arms give out pretty quick since he had the surgeries.

    We are loving the gray.

  5. BJ,
Simply adorable! I see your black and white scheme, too cute! Yes, "Mr. Ed" and I are enjoying more fresh fruits, also. I love every fruit to eat. . .except pears! "Mr. Ed" loves pears. . .but not much else! HA!Menu planning and dining On Crooked Creek can be very interesting at times!

Thank you for stopping by with your sweet visit! I'll be waiting at the door next time.
    Fondly,

  9. BJ, you and I could enjoy reading magazines over breakfast together! I am such a magazine-aholic! My breakfasts lately have been protein shakes (trying to take off those holiday pounds). I would much prefer yours, give me the bacon and biscuits, juice and fruit! Yum and sooo pretty too.

  10. I'm another one who loves to enjoy a new magazine over a meal. For me, it's usually lunch.

Loving your breakfast table with all the black and white. The checked place mats and the little ribbon with the polka dots look great together.

Wish I knew how to do photoscape. I'm such a dunce with stuff like that.

  22. Your breakfast looks so good! I'm sitting here thinking about what I'll have for breakfast and seeing the bacon on the plate makes me think I have some bacon in the fridge. mmmm! I admit, just like Penny, I'm usually balancing a cup of coffee, a piece of toast and something to read.
