FUN WHITE TABLE..

This day, I was just having fun playing around on a
centerpiece for my long dining table...
I actually was working on a table for
WHITE CHRISTMAS meme...
I was having such fun with a bunch of thrifted items from SALVATION ARMY THRIFT STORE..
...one of their stores is right across the street from me...now, how 'bout THAT !!
LOVE IT !
Everything was all WHITE...
and silvery...like snow ....and ice....
and lookin' gooood...

UNTIL...

The green CHRISTMAS FAIRY...
..and the SUGAR PLUM FAIRY
just jumped upon my table...
right smack dab in the middle of all the
WHITENESS and SILVERNESS..
Right by the wicker sleigh full of holly and berries and Christmasness...
and they looked SOOO good, in all that white surroundings..
I had to let them stay...
ALAS..that blew my
ALL WHITE for the party.
*heavy sigh
Of course, you might know that it didn't take long
til the fun REALLY began....

They jumped right up on those amazing WHITE DEER...
the male deer has only ONE antler and he was 50 cents..
his little doe was perfect so she cost the big sum of 75 cents..:)
 RUDOLPH the RED ANTLERED REINDEER
...ride 'em, cowboy
...and, pretty SUGAR PLUM jumped on the other deer.
They just looked so cute on the deer.
He always looks like he has a secret....

Now, these little fairy boots are a whole lot cuter to me than cowboy boots...
THE MERRIEST CHRISTMAS, EVER..

Remember these ?
Canned biscuits (I use the big GRANDS) rolled as thin as you can...

Can of TART cherries...NOT cherry pie filling.
Add sugar to taste to the cherries (I like mine REAL sweet :), a little flour, if they need thickening, and heat.
Fill biscuits, fold over, crimp closed with a fork.
Melted butter, a sprinkling of Cinnamon and more sugar.
Bake in 350 oven for ABOUT 15 minutes..
ALL OVENS VARY so keep checking yours.

I just   these...hope you do, too.

BJ, your table is just gorgeous. What a mix of loveliness and fun! I like your centerpiece even if it isn't white. I know I could never have a white room, I'd always be tossing in color!

Very nicely done!

I am in love with the white deer. I sold some hand carved white deer in my shop. Now...I am second guessing myself. Wish I had kept them. That's okay...just gives me something else to look for on my hunts. Your table is beautiful...always is. xoxo

Please, that is. :-)

And as to your table settings, well I run out of words. Just gorgeous. Both as all white and sparkly silver. And with the colorful touches. Perfect, both ways. :-)

Oh sparkle, don't you just love sparkle? ,-)
