♪♫♥♫WALKING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND...♪♪

Every year about this time,
my friend and yours, KATHLEEN,
has a
and she lets us pretty much run amuck....(amuck-to test your limits).
She says
white dishes
a little silver..gold..greens can be used.
If you want,
you can serve WHITE foods...
How fun is that !
Be sure to go over and see her beautiful WHITES
as well as a lot more..
and THANKS for coming by my place.
I started out with this
plain table and transformed it into a
WINTER WONDERLAND
dining area.
I used ALL WHITE...
SILVER in the chargers and flatware, which is by Oneida and very olden.
This table is set in the library end of my living room.
The strange green plant was in the clearance basket at the market..
$1.99
I love the dark green leaves, altho it looks a little like a big green spider with many MANY legs...
*
I just filled in with white and silver Christmas balls
and a sprinkling of pearls...

These are my mom's pearls...
I couldn't tell you if they are real or not but it makes  NO difference.
I couldn't love them a bit more if they WERE the real thing...
which I do have my doubts.

I can't imagine where she would have aquired a
STRING OF PEARLS...
but, aren't they pretty !

I used some of the beautiful linens...
some vintage..
some WALMART...:))

WELCOME
to my WINTER WONDERLAND...
my WHITE and SILVER
Table for Two
**

VANILLA ICE CREAM (it's white)
HOT FUDGE SAUCE
WHIPPED CREAM
PAULA DEEN PECAN ICE CREAM TOPPING
BIG...RED...CHERRIES

Gorgeous!!!!!!!!

But that point, about you "can use all white food," reminds me of a book... Probably the only Ann Rice book on vampires, I read. And some ate only white food. -Bleahhhh-

A beautiful tablesetting. I love all the doilies, linens and pearls - such a romantic setting. It definitely is a winter white wonderland.

Love the sundae - haven't had one of them for a long time.

Everything is so beautiful! You did a great job bringing out the white. I think the name of the plant is called Firecracker. A friend had given me a small cutting once and it grew so well. I am not sure why I got rid of it but now I am sorry I did.

Always a joy stopping by to visit with you!

I feel quite sure that the pearl of real value was your mama. The necklace is a wonderful memory of that priceless jewel in your life. Your tablescape is lovely...just the right blend of white and bling...and I love thought of a table for two by the fireplace. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
