The FIRST thing I really wanted was
a larger light fixture for my long, narrow entry hall.....
It couldn't hang too low since we would be walking beneath it...
I looked and looked and looked and then...
I FOUND THIS ONE....THIS one would work just fine
and it's so so pretty.
I think this one will look good in the space...
I am not really a prism chandy type person...a little more POTTERY BARN look suits me right now.

I fell in love with this large clock....
It just is the perfect color and style for my living room...
I had one in this very spot for about 3 years and one day,
I moved it into my dining room, over the mantle....and loved it.

I bought 2 hall lights from them last spring when Artie from Color Outside the Lines asked us to.
Enjoy your new goodies! The clock looks perfect there, and my lights got put up last month after a long wait. It was hard for dh to do it, but finally did!

Been trying to catch up this morning. Slow getting around to bloggy visits, this week. This trip to the lake has been great for both of us. I have slept better than I have in months...enjoying all our drives and best of all...g'kids will be here tomorrow.

Hi there. You don't know me, but I saw a comment of yours over on Aunt Amelia's Attic blog. I see where you are getting frustrated with the blogger editor. I thought I'd do a little random act of kindness and let you know that I recently posted about my own frustrations with the blogger editor and have switched over to using Windows Live Writer. It is much easier and there is no playing around with the formatting either, in case you want to move around your text. Photo uploading is a snap, either from your computer or a link to a photo web site such as Flickr. If you use an Apple computer, Live Writer won't work, however.

I see you shop at T J Maxx & Marshalls. Just love those stores for home goods. I love the new clock. There is no CSN stores in my area so haven't been there.

Those are my kinda light fixtures too.. I dont do well with the Bling Bling chandys lol.. I'm sorta plain I guess..
I wanted to thank you so much for visitng to see my kitchen and it tickles me pink that you like it.
The dish rack was done in my art program so I could SEE if I really want one before I go out to the building and start cutting wood and making it. Same with the glass doors I added. I'll build the frames and add glass so I can save the original doors in case I change my mind which I am so prone to do:)
Now, I have a question.. I noticed the lettered backboard on your cabinet you just posted .. Do you think that would make a good backsplash for my kitchen counter. ? I could stain and letter the wood and then poly it and add the top piece of molding. I really like how yours looks.

I have a similar clock over the mantle in our family room and every now and then I've thought about relocating it to another spot in the house, but I know we'd be lost without it hanging in its current location. Funny how we get so used to things in certain places.
