BAMBOO HALL TREES... make my heart go pitter-pat...

 HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY TO JESSICA..
She is our sweet granddaughter that is the mother of CATE...
We love you dearly, Jessica...
Have a wonderful Birthday today..!!
**************************************************************************
 My newest love...Bamboo Hall Trees...
be still my heart..
This one used in a KITCHEN is awesome...
I wish I had a spot to put one.....

I am so in love with this room, I could just die...
A long and very narrow ENTRY HALL....
So hard to decorate.....
I am wanting  needing a BAMBOO HALL TREE for this narrow space..

... little mirrors and shelves....all painted white and all from THRIFTING...

THIS is the BENCH THAT BILL BUILT...
I just layered in pillows for SOFTNESS....basket of magazines...texture

Little pillows that I made...except for the POCKET pillow..BIG LOTS...$1.00 from the clearance bin...
I've enjoyed THIS look for awhile....but now....

THIS BEAUTIFUL TREE  would look PERFECT in my long, narrow hallway....

Oh, yes...I'm in LOVE with BAMBOO HALL TREES..
This is one of my most favorite looks..
So pretty...so comfy....and ...........
I'VE GOTTA have a bamboo hall tree.

  1. I LOVE your entryway. It's the perfect place for a hall tree...although I love the way you have it with the pretty bench! Oh...if we all had the room we wanted. or better yet, got rid of some of the necessities for some of the good stuff!!

    I do love the bamboo...

    xoxo

  2. BJ, your narrow entry hall with the grouping of white wicker mirrors and that long bench is charming. You may be tired of it, but it looks fresh and inviting to these new eyes. :-)
I'm in love with antique bamboo pieces too. I added a small antique bamboo chest to our sun porch a few years ago. I'd be thrilled to find more pieces to work on that porch.
You never know when one of those hall trees will come your way! ~ Sarah

  4. BJ, I LOVE you entry and those mirrors are wonderful... I especially love the hand mirror mixed in, that's perfect! NOW you have me watching for bamboo hall trees, if I see a bargain, I'll be sure to let you know. I have an antique set of folding chairs(card table like) that are bamboo. It seems to fit into any decor perfectly...

  8. BJ, When you get rid of all of your lovely hallway goodies, just pack them up and send them to me. I think your long hallway is sooooo beautiful!!!!!
But, like you, I think those hall trees are magnificent.
I am lusting over a porcelain umbrella stand, myself!
My back hallway is too small for any furniture. Oh I would love a bench there!!!!

  9. I've never even seen one. Maybe you should start searching Craigslist...everyone seems to have so much luck there. I keep looking, but I've never bought anything. Just don't go by yourself to look at anything...there are crazies out there!

Thanks for always being so sweet to me...hugs, Sue

  18. I think your entryway is gorgeous BJ. OF course we all need a little change up every now and then. I don't think I have ever actually seen one of these bamboo hall trees at a sale or even a furniture store. I wonder if anyone carries them?

  19. Picture #7, is from a film.... Something like 'Holiday'... Where 2 young women switch homes, at holiday time. One home in CA [too modern] but other home in UK and tooooootallllly precious. I remember that pic, 'cause we needed ideas of a way to hang coats/sweaters, with our front hall closet being "eaten away" by our Laundry Room slash tiny Powder Room. :-))))

And your present entry hall is beeeeeeeeeutiful! You have so much decorating savey! I have nearly none, so I really appreciate it, when bloggers display it. Lucky you!

Hope you find your Bamboo Hall Tree!

Here, 'Uncle A.' made our own version of one, for the wall next to the entry door. :-) Nope, not a big one. Just shelves [for hats/gloves] and enough places to hang coats.

You have a new look here, on your blog. Me too! I "lifted" your soft stripe Background. :-) It feels perfect for me, now. Yes, we do have FUN, rearranging our blog looks, do we not? :-))))

  22. BJ...that is the neatest hall tree! I will keep my eye out for you when I'm out shopping in case I see one in a store that might have a location near you, too.
Your hall is wonderful and it would look awesome with a bamboo hall tree. I think the warmth of the bamboo would be gorgeous against your beautiful tile floor. Happy Birthday to Jessica!
