ROSEMARY and FROZEN ROLLS...

oops...this posted one day early but....
oh well....
*
Have a wonderful weekend....

Things are going GREAT at SWEET NOTHINGS COTTAGE...
*
I have a tiny bit of BLUE for BLUE MONDAY
and a little cottage love for SHOW OFF YOUR COTTAGE
**
My thanks to all these hosts..
**

Frozen rolls from the freezer section of your local grocery store or
HOMEMADE..........
*
CHOP some fresh ROSEMARY...

a 10" CAST IRON SKILLET and SEVEN (7)
FROZEN ROLLS...
THIS IS THE PIONEER WOMAN'S RECIPE.....
AND she said SEVEN...so I did SEVEN.
*
Let them rise to double...triple in size.
Those 7 rolls will totally FILL UP YOUR SKILLET...
*
Brush with melted butter, GENTLY as not to push them down...
then sprinkle those babies with FRESH CHOPPED ROSEMARY...
AND THEN......
GIVE ME A HIGH FIVE !!
*
YOU are sooo in for a TASTE TREAT...
*
*
Take a gander at these AMAZING rolls, covered with BUTTER and a fresh herb...
now, that's what I'm talkin' about !!
**
YOUR cottage will fill completely up with the BEST FRAGRANCE...
The smell of the YEAST, coupled with the smell of fresh ROSEMARY
is just NEARLY more than a human can stand..
*
I kept running into MR. SWEET every time I turned around...
he was right on my heels until I took them out of the oven...
THEN he was sitting at table with the butter and two of these delicious rolls...

But, not before he grilled a delicious meal for us....
MR. SWEET is a very sweet fella...
*
AND....don't let ANYone ever tell ya that HOT
ROSEMARY ROLLS don't go well with RED RASPBERRY JAM...
**
They make an AWESOME COUPLE for a great dessert....
*
As I mentioned, these are THE PIONEER WOMAN'S
ROSEMARY ROLLS....
*
and speaking of THE PIONEER WOMAN, REE DRUMMOND...
*

Reese Witherspoon will likely star in the new romantic comedy from Columbia Pictures called The Pioneer Woman.

Deadline reports the flick will be based on ThePioneerWoman.com, a blog by Ree Drummondthat details “how a detour on a trip from L.A. to Chicago led her to Oklahoma. There, she met the cowboy of her dreams and transformed from spoiled city girl to domestic ranch wife.”
Check out Ree’s blog at ThePioneerWoman.com

I simply can not WAIT to see who will play "MARLBORO MAN" !! ;-)

BJ,
I LOVE the looks of those rolls. I will most definitely have to try them! I already have your biscuit recipe secured in my favorite, old, ragged cookbook. Aren't those the best kind of cookbooks!

Hi BJ! Your cottage looks so pretty. I love those rolls..I've made them twice now after finding them on The Pioneer Woman's blog but I've never had the fresh rosemary. Next time. I didn't know about the movie...I had read her story and fell in love with it and thought back then that it would be a wonderful book...but a movie...EVEN BETTER! I'll definitely be going to see THAT movie. Enjoy your Sunday....Maura :)

I can't wait to see Mr. Marlboro either and Reese looks good as a brunette. I love these rolls, and rosemary is such a great herb on them. Another fun variation is to let them thaw then roll them into a rope, dip in butter then cinnamon sugar and tie in a knot. Rhodes are just amazing!

Oh its so wonderful to visit you through Sally's Blue Monday meme. Your rolls look ever so delicious and your cottage is so pretty. I too can't wait to see who plays M M - I love the pioneer woman blog too.

All of the Rosemary bushes here in Scotland were killed during our harshest winter for decades so I've none growing in the garden - other than myself lol

You're making me hungry.

I love bread. But, when it comes to hot rolls, I could eat them all. I have a taste for bread. I stopped by buying it as I would eat too much. I would certainly love to sit with you, enjoy these rolls with honey, a cup of coffee and a good visit with you. What more would you want.
