" The fact is, the United States has been a country that is far more lenient with its population of illegal immigrants than many others.
*
We are and always have been a generous country. By and large, we take care of people in need of medical care, education and a whole host of social services.
Few other nations are so generous to their non-citizens.
*
*
But our generosity has brought us to a breaking point.
*
We cannot continue to ignore the millions of people who are sneaking into the United States to live and work, no matter how heartbreaking their stories of family hardships are back home. Our tax supported systems and many private businesses could be brought to their knees by the weight of so many people requiring services.

There are few nations in the entire world where people are allowed to enter, work and live without registering or receiving a visa from that nation’s government.

LOL!!! I love it! The handcuffs rock!!
Happy Pinks!! Thanks for offering a fun giveaway!
Hugs, Lisa
I think the term "illegal" tells the story.
Good post.
Also great give a way.
Thanks for your helping publicize "our" issues, BJ ... and, of course, one of my personal heroes, Sheriff Joe!
Have a great weekend, dear one :)
Myra
I think Sheriff Joe should be Obama's "Prison Czar," since the President has sooooo many Czars. But, no... instead he (President Barack Hussein Obama) and his minions launched a DOJ investigation that Sheriff Joe's office has "violated the civil right of illegal aliens."
Lovely 'pink' post, btw. ...Karen
I have always been a fan of sheriff Joe and I totally support Az.
Since I live in Arizona, I definitely understand the problems first hand. I truly think that illegal should mean illegal. Too bad the President doesn't think we need to do something about it. When all they do is put up signs in the most widely crossed areas to enter is put up signs that say Dangerous area, something is really wrong. Hugs, Marty
GREAT post Bj, and Sheriff Joe is my hero...if you break the law he treats you like you should be treated including the woman's chain gangs...not like our club-med we have in Calif...where the prisoners has more rights than the guards...don't even get me up on my soap box about this girl...Like I said great post...and sometimes with my health issues and not getting any help with them I wished I was illegal so I could live off the land that I helped pay for with my hard earned tax $$...any hoo better go before I say too much with my irish mouth...ha ha!! Have a GREAT weekend my friend...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
Very cute (& clever) way to post "Pink"
High Five to Sherrif Joe!!
Way to go BJ! Gotta love that pair of pink handcuffs!!!
Sherry
We have severe problems here in Pennsylvania with illegal immigrants. Hazelton & Tamaqua Pa. have been a hot-bed of controversy.
I ISN'T JUST THE BORDER STATES!!!
Great Post!!
Have a Great Day!
Marilyn
How can pink t-shirts be intimidating? They are so pretty, ha! Your give-a-way looks lovely!
Happy PS,
Jacalyn
Yep, we can't keep footing the bill for so many EXTRAS who aren't pulling their weight!
What a great guy! Love it! Have a blessed day! HUGS!
Thank you My Dear, for such a perfect and timely "Pink Saturday"!
This is one "Pink Saturday" entry, that I'm so glad I read. And so glad you had the guts to post!
You are amazing! To think of tying these two topics together! Love it!
Hope so many come by and see/read your entry.
And hope as many, stop and make a supportive comment, for the brave Americans in Arizona!!!
Bless our Beloved Country!!!
What groovy handcuffs! Happy Pinks, BJ! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Oh you are a Hoot! I love the earring comment, so funny :)

What?! Wearing pink is punishment? Most interesting post for this Pink Saturday! Thanks for sharing.
Sherry @ A Happy Valentine
Hehe, I love those pink handcuffs! Happy Saturday sweet BJ :)
Hugs,
Dena
I so agree BJ! I don't understand why people have a hard time with cracking down on this behaviour. It grinds me that someone can come inhto this country illegally and get free food and medical care while those of us who have worked all our lives legally and paid taxes don't get those benefits. We cannot continue to support the world at the expense of people who work hard and do the right thing.
God bless Sheriff Joe! The only sheriff that has it all together & knows how to take care of a criminal ... love his pink!!
Have a lovely weekend.
TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
Great post!!! Love those pink handcuffs.... Happy Pink Saturday~~~ Daphne
Oh BJ Sweetie...
I love this post. Too cute for sure. I live in Phoenix, and I have to tell you, I own a pair of Sheriff Joes boxers shorts. They are autographed and I bought them in support of Sheriff Joe. Our family totally supports what he does.
Thanks for the support of our state. You are to sweet my friend.
I have gone and entered your drawing a few times. I will be back for more I am sure. I love dressings.
Have a beautiful Saturday sweet friend. Country hugs and much love, Sherry
I live in East Texas, the problem here is awful.... My husband just turned 62, Social Sec.office told us it is running out, but who can afford to retire?? He hs worked for the same Industry 44 years-paying in SS - while they can just walk here and take his away.
This problem should have been stopped 4+ years ago!!! It did not just happen.
Love the post!
Love those pink prison shirts and handcuffs!!! Thank you for your visit to my blog!
Happy pink Saturday!
xojanis
I LOVE Sheriff Joe! Thanks for this great post. You go girl!! It's time for us to take our country back!
Being from Louisiana, having lived in W. Texas and now OKLA., I wholeheartly agree that this is not, as alot of people seem to think, a new problem. I am glad something is now being done to bring it to the public forefront. I am tired of having tax dollars go to support illegals, not only in the workplace but look in an emergency room sometime. I'm just sayin! A great post!
Yes sir, you GO sheriff Joe!! I'm 100% for the new law.
xoxo,
Connie
God Bless Sheriff Joe, if only all of our law enforcement were like him.
Thank you for sharing him. God Bless Arizona.
Happy PS
Gail
Happy belated PINK Saturday! That is so funny! Great post! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Good morning BJ, we are home from camping and happily enjoying our air conditioning. Our camping trip was wonderful but it was hot and humid. sigh. there were 18 of us and you are right. Nothing compares to spending time with out family.
I so agree with the sheriff and the pink clothing for the jailbirds. Go Arizona as well. This is a great post.
We still have to unpack the RV etc. A huge amount of laundry too. ugh! I'll be back!!!
Have a happy Sunday.
Love, Jeanne
You go Sheriff Joe! As an Arizona native, I know the problems they're faced with. I don't mind people coming here --LEGALLY. I work hard for my money and it's not to support someone who is capable of making a living (i.e. not seniors and handicapped). Love this post!
If the people of Arizona want that law, they should have it. It is not for people who aren't dealing with that problem to decide . It must be needed!
