A COFFEE PARTY.....and you're invited ! ;O)

I am linking with SUSAN for TABLESCAPE THURSDAY
and with MICHAEL for FOODIE FRIDAY...
AND...
I invite you to my
COFFEE PARTY...
**

First, may I show you my delicious smorgasbord of
DELIGHTS to accompany our coffee...
....there's
BlueBerry Muffins...seems I ALWAYS have BlueBerry muffins around..:)
**

Butter Flake rolls served WARM and with lots of buttah....
**

O....and CARAMEL APPLE BISCOTTI....
*heaviest sigh...
I DO love Biscotti of any kind....
**

And may I introduce you to my latest LOVE...
Mini Whole Wheat Bagels
topped with luscious, low fat Cream Cheese
and sprinkled heavily with moist and tender Bacon Bits...
**
These are so SO good...
and with a cup of full bodied coffee...
we are talkin' pure heaven .
**

This is one of my favorite store bought cakes...
...have you tried the STRAWBERRY CREAM ?..and have you noticed..I seem to always have strawberries around, too. :0 :)

I will be serving you on these ADORABLE and BRAND NEW
coffee dessert plates...I saw these at STEINMART and fell in love..
*

I've gathered my dishes, napkins, rings and tablecloth...
and see that I am VERY lucky that this set makes
a perfect match with the little dessert coffee plates...
*

They all work together just like they are supposed to !!
*

I love using these flavored syrups in cups of plain coffee...
I especially love the
IRISH CREAM...
As you can see, it is almost gone...
*

*

DULCE LECHE coffee.
and I have long finished my BLUE MOUNTAIN JAMAICAN coffee..
*
It was strong but, OOO, so good.
*

I so wish I had a beautiful COFFEE SERVER....
but....alas....I do not.
HOWEVER,
this vintage CORNING WARE coffee maker (non-electric)
makes a cute way to serve our coffee...
*
One must make-do with what one has, ya know...
and be THANKFUL for it.!
*
Isn't this little vintage juice glass so cute ?
I found a set of 4 at an estate sale last year...
**
My 3 little golden candles are sitting on a tiny country french gold colored tray..
sent to me a couple years ago in a wonderful package of goodies from MARY that lives in
Thanks again, MARY
***
IF YOU WILL NOTICE...these candles are sitting right under my beautiful, blooming
GERANIUM plant....
**
.just burned a few of my little leaves all to pieces...
and....it did NOT smell very good, either....
*
I'm just glad it wasn't my hair...or my eye brows....I've been THERE...done THAT !! :(
**
Here's my ADORABLE little stuffed JAMAICAN dolls that BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER brought me from one of her cruises a few years back.
*
The little wicker cart is a thrifted buy from GOODWILL..
it was a dull, plain brown so I had to dress it up
in a springy fashionable green...
I got it about 15 years ago.
~~~~~~~~~~
It seems to be perfect to hold all these luscious coffee beans....
A precious gift from a precious friend...
**
MY BFF, MARTHA, gave this beautiful book to me..
~~~
A "JUST BECAUSE" present....
~~~~~~~
THEY are the very best kind of presents OF ALL....
because they always come from the heart....
*
"THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BOOK, MARTHA..BUT NOT NEARLY AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOUR PRECIOUS FRIENDSHIP !!"
MY THANKS AGAIN...
~~~~~~~~~~
So...I'll have a good cup of coffee, a snack and look through this beautiful book.....
Ummmmmm.....

This is so dern cute, BJ...you just knock my socks off with the way you are able to come up with these creative tables, week after week. Honestly...I'm very envious of your talents. Mine all seem to look the same. :(
LOVE your new coffee dishes...PERFECT with your others.
My sisters swear by Dunkin' Donuts coffee (I don't drink it, so I wouldn't know).

Thanks for showing your set of carafes of flavorings. I totally forgot I have some similar ones high up in the cupboard. Watch for them in a future TT.

Hugs,
Rett

Hi Dear BJness! Oh, I love your coffee table! What a great pun! :)
I don't drink coffee, but I'll have a cup of tea. I know that luscious looking coffee cake would taste so good with a cuppa! You have the prettiest things and I love how you set a table. Oh, by the way, strawbabies are my favorite. I loved it when you said my next post title would be 'hello my name is Shelia and I'm a grandmother'. I just may have to use that.
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;0

Just found your blog and thoroughly enjoyed it! I dearly like many of the things you do. Where did you find the cutlery at your place settings? I've been looking for some the same color. I have one place setting of my grandmother's, but I don't use it. It stays in a small cupboard with all my cups, saucers, and tea things and I smile every time I see it there.

Thank you for leaving the very first post on my very first Tablescape Thursday post! I appreciate your encouragement so much! You asked about my silver -- it's Lunt Belvedere, the pattern I picked as a bride in 1972. I still love it! Thank goodness silver was so much less expensive then. I don't know how brides today get ANY silver!
