my Aunt Lillian always wore them and looked like a million dollars..

YEP.... THE Five and Dimes were all the rage in 1937....with F.W. WOOLWORTH leading the pack....I can remember, years later, loving to roam the isles of the
FIVE AND DIME STORES ... a lot of the wonderful treasures I have from my mother came from
WOOLWORTH DIME STORE....
I'm thinking they were a little classier than our dollar stores of today....
...things were made a lot nicer and better, I think.
