Wow BJ what a lovely post. I just wanted to say hello. Let you know that I've enjoyed meeting you through the Blog Universe and I hope that 2010 will be a stellar year for you.
Happy Twirls
It is soooo much FUN decking our homes for the holidays...at the end of the holidays it's also nice to have our homes back to normal!
Blessings,
Linda
Your before photos are divine, especially that cute hutch! But I have to agree, once the fat lady sings it's time to pack it back up. I'm doing mine tomorrow!
We wont see "normal" for another few weeks around here. I don't pack it all away till the kids go back to school. They hate to see it all put being taken down.
Your home looked so inviting. I'm sure the children feel so special when they see it all.
Have a Happy New Year!
Dawn
Just found your blog and LOVED this post. Everything looked so pretty and festive! Looks like Santa was VERY good to you and yours! Happy New Year!!!! Pinky
Oh BJ, your home was beautiful all decorated this year! I loved it! I've been super busy here with tons of things and getting all my ducks in a row - who knows if anything will ever get back to "normal"! LOL! We'll see ... talk soon! So glad I stopped by! Check in sometime ...
You are a very blessed lady...all of those grandkids! I have two adult sons, but neither is married. Your home looks so warm and inviting. Please visit my brand new blog and see my home and my furry babies. I love new visitors to my new blog.
We both love thrifting, I see!
Very pretty and Christmas-y. Enjoyed it. Sure sorry to hear you have to go to moderated comments - but not a problem.
Can you believe 20-10 is around the corner? Hard to believe. Jenn
Looks like someone had a fun time shopping! LOL! Coming by to wish you a wonderful birthday, a little early!
What a beautiful Christmas. Love your hutch! Seems everyone is packing up a bit earlier this year! Can't wait to see the decorations for January!
It's almost your birthday Ms BJ! Your home is such a reflection of you...
The red and white quilt looks fabulous and what a gorgeous table you've set!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I love getting it out, and I love getting everything put away too and having life back to the "normal" chaos of our large family. I love the photo of you with your camera too. You look so happy, and you express that happiness and your inner joy with every post. Have a Happy New Year.
Blessings,
Marcia
I have missed you. Great Christmas photos :) so cheerful.
All the best,
Allison
Looks like you had an awesome Christmas... good for you!
I love all your Christmas goodies, especially the gifts hanging on the hutch.... ooohhhhh aaahhhhhh! Love it all! It is always so much fun to get everything all decorated and then it all has to go back in the attic along with some new decorations:) Enjoy your day dear BJ whatever you do, dusting and fluffing and maybe a little baking:) Something will be smelling good at your house... it always does! Have a blessed day!
Happy New years, BJ! Your home and decorations are all beautiful. The cake looks delicious too.
I just love photos of your cottage, BJ. I can never see too many. And it seems like your a girl like me who puts it all away as soon as it's over.
Do you spring clean in January? I always have....
Everything looked so festive, fun and beautiful. But the after shows loved, fulfilled hearts (and tummy's). Rosie
BJ, I loved todays post, yesterdays post and I'm sure tomorrows post will be great. Where do you find the time and energy??? You are such a bright spot in my daily blog reading and way ahead of me taking stuff down. It will be a couple of weeks before it's all packed away. I wish I could take the week between Christmas and New Years off to get my house in order. But I'm blessed with a wonderful job and work must go on. May 2010 be your best year ever. God's richest blessings to you and your family.
I hope that 2010 will be a stellar year for you.
How to make a website
You know, I really did notice that German's Chocolate Cake. Why did I notice? Because that is my very favorite cake in the whole wide world.
And, I love that ball of berries next to it, too.
Now that looked like a really fun place to be. No wonder I couldn't find all the things I needed this year, it was at your house. LOL
Happy New Year,
Chris
