GOOSEBERRY COOKBOOK CHRISTMAS GOODIES.....

MERRY CHRISTMAS...!!
**
I have been blessed to win TWO beautiful GOOSEBERRY COOKBOOKS...
They are, without a doubt, the most amazing cookbooks....filled with delicious sounding
recipes, little bits of this and that....
**
I just read them like a novel, with my morning cup of DUNKIN DONUT coffee...
If you plan to buy a new cookbook anytime soon, consider looking at
the GOOSEBERRY PATCH ones....
**

I made this recipe tonight...
We go to BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER'S house early on CHRISTMAS morning for
a light little breakfast and to see what SANTA brought everyone....
I wanted something nice and delicious and pretty to take and this
sounded so good....
**
Our sweetest- in -the- whole- wide world son in law, JENT, doesn't like
pecans very much......
This bread loaf has pecans...
So I made him a few muffins WITHOUT them....
***
I had some left over cranberry sauce and, not wanting to throw them out,
I mixed a little powdered sugar and a touch of milk and made a great
CRANBERRY glaze to go over this good-looking loaf.
***

Once we visit and see all the kids treasures from ole ST. NICK,
we head out for HANDSOM SON'S house, 22 miles away from his sister.....
There, we have a light brunch and ooo and ahhh over all the goodies left for everyone.
so..I made this recipe to take to his house..
Kathy always makes sausage balls and I thought this might be
good with those...
**
YULETIDE COFFEE CAKE...
***
Both treats are in the freezer....they will have their
glazes added the night before we go and
I'll wrap pretty saran wrap tied with a holly berry bow around them....
**
If we don't get in too big a hurry, I'll take a quick photo of them for you..
**
we WILL be in a hurry, however...
because I JUST CAN'T WAIT to see all their..............LOOT !!
:o)
I am linking with

***
I PRAY FOR A BLESSED AND HAPPY CHRISTMAS FOR ALL OF YOU.
JUST LIKE YOU, WE WILL REMEMBER WHAT THIS HOLIDAY IS ALL ABOUT...
OUR SWEET JESUS CHRIST'S BIRTHDAY...
love and hugs to you..
**
Well, it seems I can't get finished cooking...
KATHLEEN told me how to do these little cookies, dipped in the BESTest chocolate dip...
I was so proud of my silly self, I had to share them with you..
O, the grands are gonna love these...
and so will MR. SANTA..errr, MR. SWEET !
just little store-bought cookies, dipped in 2 sticks butter and a 12 oz. package of GOOD chocolate...ummmm..UM...GOOD..

SEE YA !

I have rediscovered Gooseberry Patch in the last couple of years. They do have THE BEST recipes. I am kicking myself now because I was at Costco yesterday and there was a large Gooseberry Patch cookbook in a binder that I decided not to purchase and now I am sorry I didn't. It was only sixteen dollars and some change. It retailed for $30.00! Maybe I will go back tomorrow. Well maybe not. It is getting crazy out there. I will go the day after Christmas. :) :)

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

LUV LUV LUV Gooseberry Patch. I have a few of their craft books as well as cookbooks and I like to decorate with them. Don't just leave them on the shelf, use them as decoration according to what season it is. Their covers are always adorable.
Have a very Merry Christmas, God bless your home.
