A PINKISH WEDDING....

About TWENTY years ago, my beautiful daughter, STACY, married her Knight in Shining Armor, JENT...
STACY gave me one of the most blessed gifts....she asked ME to be her Matron of Honor...
can you see me crying, even now, after all this time ?
I was a thrilled, happy and squalling woman !!

The colors she chose were Peachy pink and white... just beautiful !!
Here we are...getting her all ready for the momentous affair...(i'm on your right...the OLDER one..heh heh...)
***
Here's MR. SWEET, adjusting that wedding garter...
Great Balls of Fire...look how YOUNG he and I look !!
Stacy girl is still just as beautiful....maybe even more so...
**
These are all PICTURES of PICTURES that are 20 years old but you can still see how pretty she looked...

This is such a beautiful post BJ. How wonderful that you and your daughter are so close that she wanted you to be her Matron of honor. I can see why you would still be crying tears of joy.
I don't really know what you look like today but I am sure you are just as stunning as you are in that picture.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend.
Best wishes always, Natasha.

That is just the sweetest thing. I don't think I've ever heard of mom being the Matron of Honor, but it really must have been an honor for you. She looked beautiful and that dress looked like cotton candy. You also looked gorgeous. This was fun!

What a wonderful compliment to you as a mama! You're making me cry too. I love all the pictures. We have a couple of older bridesmaids dresses around here that are similar in style and color. My girls used them as dress-up dresses when they were younger. Of course, they were ones I wore in friends weddings :-) Your daughter is beautiful, and I love the cowboy hat.
Blessings,
Marcia

How cute. You have always been alittle doll=)
Girl I don't think you could make me not like you! I just got Sandra Lee and I really like her. Her magazine are beautiful. Pioneer women is my favorite place for recipes too.
I hate to have to admit it,but the old Paula isn't here any more. When people are good why don't they leave things alone.
The pots are very nice. They are not thin at all and that is important to me.I like you love my old cast iron.
Have a blessed weekend.

What an honor to be the Matron of Honor, well I believe you two started a new tradition. Whoever said it can't be your Mom?

Loved the gowns, they were just beautiful, looked like chiffon they were so soft looking and draped so beautifully.

BTW: I love the cake smashing picture. That was devine.

Please stop by and say hi today. I love to have you visit.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Oh, BJ! What a sweet story, and I am crying thinking of how sweet it was for her to ask her dear mother to do that for her. That's a first for me to hear. You sometimes hear of boys asking their dad's, but that is wonderful that you were her matron of honor! That tells me a lot about you as a mother, BJ. That says it loud and clear as if we didn't already know from how much you love your family! :-)

Congrats on winning Beverly's blog drawing. I'm happy for you, dear one!

Happy Pink Saturday! Loved seeing your pretty pictures! And girl you are still YOUNG!

XO,

Sheila :-)
