A PEEK AT MY DAUGHTER'S TABLE....

How wonderful...it's TABLESCAPE THURSDAY with our charming host, SUSAN..

BE SURE to stop by and say hello and visit all the others waiting to show their pretty tablescapes...

I had the marvelous privilege to spend time with 4 of my grands while the parents were out of town.
I decided this would be a great time to show off some pretty dishes Beautiful Daughter has ...
I didn't really have a CENTERPPIECE and I didn't really set the table..
but it was a lot of fun, anyway...
**
Wouldn't you just KNOW she loves BLACK and WHITE !! ?? :O)

......and anything french...

oui...:O)
***
...and....RED !!!! :o)
**

Her fabulous flatware....MICHELANGELO by ONIDEA
***
Black and white transfer ware....it doesn't get much better than that, for me.....or for Beautiful Daughter!!
***

*******
I can't tell you what a great time I had with the grand kids.

They are so much fun to be with....and we play the whole time....then, just before
MAMA walks in the door, we all hurriedly put away dirty clothes and "stuff", tidy up the rooms, light a great smelling candle and are all seated on the sofa, watching movies!!! :O)
***

and when i got home that night, MR. SWEET had made MORE of these delicious
chocolate chip cookies....
i just poured myself a glass of ice cold milk and had about 2 of these....
**
Now it's night time and our house is quite....I am missing all my little grands ..
think I'll put these cookies in the freezer and the next time they are over...........
*sigh

I just love all the pictures of the black and white dishes! I too have the same flatwear and have had it for years and it still looks wonderful! :o)

Isn't it just a true blessing to be able to spend time with the grandchildren?! We need to enjoy every single second with them as they just grow up so fast! I only have two and thankfully they are just a 5 minute walk away so I see them lots! Well in the summer, in the winter there is way too much snow to walk through the woods on the path but they do come buzzing over on their snowmobiles. That will be here before we know it! Yikes!

It's always so nice to visit your blog, you certainly have a way with decorating and making things look so nice. I love how you did the little end table in RED!

I just love the black and white dishes, and I'm amazed you could set a table and watch the grands at the same time. Ours are almost 1 and 2 1/2 and I can barely blink when they are here!

Mr. Sweet makes yummy looking cookies!

I just had to laugh at your "replay" of what happens just before Mommy walks in . . . I could have written it ~ that's exactly what happens when I'm playing with my 5 little grandprincesses. But isn't it soooo much fun!!!!!! Your Beautiful Daughter obviously has her Mommy's wonderful taste in things.

Okay those black and white dishes are beautiful! Those are my dream dishes. Do you remember last year in Sep. we were all praying for the couple that was in a plane crash in Arizona? I lost the link to follow how they were doing. I found it yesterday, they are both doing well, and guess what, they are going to be on Oprah today. I just wanted to share this with you, I thought you would like to know.
Have a wonderful day,
Ginger

The pattern on the black and white dishes is very pretty.
I have mainly white plates, and white plates edged with gold for holiday dining.
But wow, those black and white designs are handsome.
You are sure having alot of fun with your grands.

Hello BJ, I have been missing my visits to you my friend. You know I have a completely crazy busy life. I'm back to catching up with my bestest blogging friends. That would be you. Darn, where does the time go?

I love the dishes, the soup, the dog with the collar, the lovely story about grands and having Mr. sweet's cookies. Life is grand at your house, and your daughter's house too. Talking about grand things, our grands are our reward for getting old. Did I say old? Not us BJ. For my 70th birthday this month I am going to FL. to spend a week with some of my grands. Yep, off and running again. And I wonder why I can't keep up with my blogging friends? I know my life is crazy, but I love every minute of it.

Love you too my Texas friend, Jeanne
