Another fallen table.....

I keep thinking it is fall around here but when our temps reach 90 during the day....
it's HARD to think
AUTUMN....
****

My favorite AUTUMN colors are REDS and GOLDS...

***

I think we've already established that
APPLES
ARE Fall !!

**

My dishes are vintage VERNON AUTIGUA by METLOX.
I bought a very large set for very little money at a fabulous estate sale this summer........
I love the creaminess and the pretty border.

Beautiful Daughter gave this tureen to me several years ago...
She purchased it from a store going out of business and got it for a nice price...
like her mom....she LOVES a good bargin !!
***

I LOVE MONOGRAMS !!!
on ANYthing !!
and it doesn't have to be MY monogram.....
I bought 6 of these glasses and they all have a different monogram
and not one is mine !!! :O)

a tiny pumpkin candle....ummmm....smells so so good...
***

***
***

Yes, indeed...I am in love with RED and GOLD...
almost as much as my RED, BLACK and WHITE..
***

I am also loving layers....
maybe getting ready for layering during the winter months...which is my
FAVORITE season of the entire, whole year.
I. CAN'T. WAIT.
***

I've made several apple cakes...have another couple I am dying to try...
THIS one is good...VERY good and especially with PRALINE syrup over it or over
the pure vanilla ice cream or.....over BOTH !!
***
I do believe I forgot to add the SAUCE to this slice....
OK....I"LL take THIS one and let YOU have the first one !!!
:>)

I can't believe that I haven't gotten that gorgeous tablecloth yet. Everytime I see it, I want it. I believe I could do that trick and jerk it right from under the dishes. After all... NOBODY has more dishes that you! Have a blessed day and thanks for showing yet another beautiful table!

Looks gorgeous BJ! That tureen is to die for. Your tablecloth will be perfect with so many of the things you have.

I'm off to San Antonio today. Hoping for some sun because it has been dark and rainy here for 8 or 9 days.

Gorgeous BJ! Your table is autumn to a T. I LOVE that tureen daughter got for you:>) You lucky lady. I would love a piece of that cake and sauce. I just got a magazine with a great looking apple cake recipe in it. I have to try it soon!

What a pretty table, BJ! From the dishes to the tureen to the tablecloth. It is beautiful and elegant for fall and I too, love reds and golds together.

I have yet to go apple picking in Michigan so I haven't made anything. I'll be sure to brag about it all when I do since I am a lousy baker and I need all the support I can get!! The cake and ice cream look delectable!! :-)

Thank you for such kind comments on my black hydrangea table.
You really put the pressure on me to make it good enough to slap your pappy! I haven't heard that in ages..LOL

I actually chuckled out loud (which is bad since I'm at work) when you said all the monograms were different and none yours. That is brilliant and joyful! And thanks for the permission! Your table is just gorgeous.

We'll send fall soon, it's a little cool up here in Io-way today.

What a gorgeous post! The first pic is my very favorite, though! I love how the yellow-handled flatware pops in those glass containers . . . and that fun rooster in the background! This pic truly reflects the yummy-ness of fall! (And, girl, I feel your pain -- it's been hot and sticky in the Houston area, too, but I do believe it is supposed to cool off a little tonight.)

Grins!
