This wonderful
FORK CHANDY...

is a vintage fork, bent to hold these fabulous vintage
CLEAR CRYSTAL PRISMS...
then...
she mentioned that she had added a
CLEAR CRYSTAL bobache
to her's...
and I had one I had bought on EBAY about 5 yrs. ago and
had never really done anything with it...
It fit perfectly on this chandy and
I was thrilled !!
*
i had also bought some of these
to*die*for
CLEAR CRYSTAL prisms so that I was able to hang them, too..
it made a BEAUTIFUL chandy...
***
LINDA has them for sale in her lovely ETSY shop...

The vintage

CLEAR CRYSTAL pitcher belonged to

Mr. Sweets mother...

I love using it for our

SWEET ICED TEA....

*

THESE beautiful, vintage

rooster bookends were given to me by a cousin.

They are so well made and so heavy...

when Mr. Sweet is out of town, I sleep with one of

these babies under a pillow...i do believe i could

bring even the biggest man to his knees with a hit from one of these..

then...

i'd have time to RUN......BABY......RUN !!

;o)
*

these CRYSTAL CLEAR wine glasses
are from the thrift store...
i buy one every time i see one...
these little vases, CRYSTAL CLEAR, were bought
at a yard sale..i just love them. ..and see them all the time
at Walmart...
it was just more fun buying them at the YARD SALE...:o)
**
i've shown this vintage flatware before...
i'll tell you all about it another time...in another post...
a 2ND TIME AROUND post...
*
i think everyone in blogland has been buying up these
precious, 2nd time around cheese boards with the
CRYSTAL CLEAR domes...
i have about 4 of them...
*
my CRYSTAL CLEAR containers that hold my
blue and white cups bought on Ebay...
they quit making them in the 70's....
liberty blues....
*
my treasured CRYSTAL CLEAR bowl that belonged to Mother..

Oh BJ ... your porch party was so much fun ... thank you for the invite, though you were so busy playing hostess you probably didn't even see me!

Crystal is also a favorite of mine and I need to pull it out and use it more often.

Hi BJ --
I saw your reply to Judy at Just a little something...and I clicked on your profile to find your site. I laughed out loud when I saw your favorite books and movies...we share many of the same favorites. Then boom...I visited your site, and found all the lovely clear crystal...and I laughed harder. I LOVE clear glass and crystal...cut or uncut. There is just something about it that is elegant, pure, fresh, timeless, classic...all the things I try to be (try being the key word!!). So glad to have found your blog. I will be back and look forward to poking around when I have more time. The "front porch" features have me intrigued... I always said my dream house could easily be built with just an enormous kitchen, a sunroom, and a generous wraparound porch...with a hammock for me to snooze!! bliss.

have a great day!

I love that flatware, that you promise to tell us about in a future post! Also all your clear pretties. By the way, you'd asked me what I do with my vintage glass jars. (And I couldn't find your email address...) Well, some have marbles and shells and such in them. And one, if you can see it on the table in my banner, has coffee beans in it with a candle in the middle. Smells delightful when lit! Love your house. We have so much in common in what we love to collect (and our color choices)!

Hi bj! CLEARLY you have some great stuff --- I love your Security Rooster; good plan, conk the burglar with a big glass rooster. I'd like to see THAT police report.

I love crystal and glass -- and it goes with everything! Must be why Cinderella loved those heels -- not too comfy, but she could wear them with any color!

If I have to choose a favorite .. I would go for that pitcher. I love pitchers. Or ... one of those brave roosters for when Howard is out of town!

thanks for your kind comments on my salt and pepper post! :-)

BJ, Thank you for the visit to my blog today. I have been visiting yours for quite awile and I enjoy every visit. It is fun to find others who enjoy the cystal like I do. My grandmothers instilled that appreciation in me. I will be back. I especially like the music.

Oh BJ, your poor dear...how I wish you had a few more crystal clear objects...LOL...then maybe you'd give me a few of yours...
I have surely missed visiting with you since I've been on break. Hey, did you know y'all are only about 8 hours from Suzanne's cabin... compared to our 13...I think it is situated perfectly for sightseeing.
Pike's Peak, Royal Gorge & Cripple Creek...that's where we're meeting up with Jeanne & Bill...I feel sure we'll all hit big jackpots & come back millionaires! See ya later, ;-) Bo

Hi Dear BJ! Oh, so many pretty photos! Love the spraklies!

Thank you for telling me about that message! I've just turned on my puter for today and saw that! I've been trying to find out what it's all about and it has something to do with my background! So I just delected my blog dress ;( and that sign went away! I need to find something to put on my blog!

I love all the crystal, clear glass bottle, containers, the pitcher, I adore the stand you have the glass on! I just love it all!
Thanks for coming by to visit me often! I had to have a good cry with you! I love to know more about the fork crystals. Not sure I got just what was going on! lol

How pretty! I love crystal, but don't have much because my boys are like bulls in a china shop, lol. You have a beautiful collection and I just love that fork chandelier! I would not have guessed that's what it was.

You know I love the cheese board with the clear domes. I have several that I have painted! I've been putting them on bases though and am really enjoying the way they've turned out.

I want a man that can afford to get me a ring like Elizabeth Taylor's! Just kidding, I'm a simple gal. I'd settle for a 2 carat, lol. (I would settle for a diamond chip if I had a good man! lol)
