PRICELESS !!

Cute email from a friend...

MY FIRST DAY EMPLOYMENT
**********************************
So after landing my new job as a Wal-Mart greeter, a good find for many retirees, I lasted less than a day......
About two hours into my first day on the job a very loud, unattractive, mean-acting woman walked into the store with her two kids, yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance.
As I had been instructed, I said pleasantly, 'Good morning and welcome to Wal-Mart. Nice children you have there. Are they twins?'
The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say, 'Hell no, they ain't twins. The oldest one's 9, and the other one's 7. Why the hell would you think they're twins? Are you blind, or just stupid?'
So I replied, 'I'm neither blind nor stupid, Ma'am,...I just couldn't believe someone slept with you TWICE !
Have a good day and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart."

My supervisor said I probably wasn't cut out for this line of work.

Too bad the woman didn't get the message about how loud she was. Those kind are so annoying. Funny post though. Makes us appreciate the nice folks, right?

You crack me up!!! Sometimes the truest things are said in jest, wouldn't it be sad to be so miserable like that though.
We are so spoiled here in "blogland", no one here acts like that. Life is good!
Have a Lovely Day~

What a great idea you left for me in your comment. Taking up your big rugs! I never thought about that but I do think I might just try it for the summer. It does make the room look bigger and cooler. Thanks !

BJ, great comeback! LOL. I sure hope she did get the message that she wasn't being" a "horse's behind" by yelling at those kids and being loud!

Too bad the Wal-Mart manager didn't side with you... ;-) I would have. LOL

I hadn't heard this one before! Hilarious!

I used to work with a woman who wondered what she was going to do once our factory closed. We used to tease her about becoming a Walmart greeter. This woman was bi-polar and subject to real meaness, but she thought it was absolutely hilarious when a co-worker said that she would probably be one of those said, "welcome to the d--- Walmart, take the d--- cart!" Anyhow, most definitely not trying to make fun of those who have a mental illness, but she was sure able to laugh at herself, knowing that she could be truly difficult sometimes.
