WALMART is a good place to shop for certain things....and that's where I spent a big part of my morning.....by the time I got home around noon.....
I WAS STARVING...
*
do you ever make PIG IN THE BLANKETS ?? OOOO, we just love 'em...
WE like them best made with CRESCENT ROLLS but like biscuits, too.
and, we like the BEEF LIL SMOKIES...

NOW...i cut my rolls into two so they will go farther...tee hee...

these are QUICK, one of my favorite things....
and delicious, dipped in mustard and maybe a little green salad on the side.....
THIS is the lunch we had today after SHOPPING.....

SINCE my gum ball machine looked like this ....
and it's the FIRST thing g-kids head for at my cottage,
I HAD to buy this...... *

GRANDDAD filled it up while I was making those PIG IN THE BLANKETS.....;o)

AHHHH, the kids will be happy !
it's the little things, ya know.....:O)
*
and i found THIS today at WALMART...isn't it so cute !!
Three little red and white bowls that I am in love with...
and...it is full of COOKIE MIX...
and
a little STAR COOKIE CUTTER...

it SHOULD be a Christmas gift to someone but.....
i just yanked the wrapping right off it and look how cute they look on MY counter...
and, i NEEDED some red and white bowls...really i did !!
if you like them, run to your walmart...the whole thing was only $10.00
*

oh, and isn't this SUGAR COOKIE MIX adorable....

and the SNICKERDOODLE..

and the GINGERBREAD...
i bought 3 of these cute glass cookie jars and put each mix into it, tied them up with a pretty ribbon
and they make cute gifts for anyone on your list...
jar...$4.99
cookie mix.....$5.00......great little inexpensive gift that they can use over and over...

Fun meme BJ! I love the things you got today at Walmart. There is talk that Walmart may be opening a store in Australia next year and I am looking forward to that if it happens! Things seem to be so inexpensive there, so that will be a nice change! Have a great day sweetie!

You did great on your shopping trip, and I agree that you needed those bowls. The jars with the cookie mix will make fantastic gifts.

We love pigs in a blanket. ;-)

Good morning my friend. Such a fun post again. You always make me smile.
The cookie mix dishes are darling. I am going to Walmart today. It is just about the only store in town like it. LOL. Small towns are so limited for shopping. The benefits are great though. NO, I said NO traffic. Our downtown is quaint and sweet. Some good tourist shopping there. This town has a wonderful feeling of community. Their decorations are awesome.

Come over for the give-a-way. three more days to win.

I might take you up on the MEME. Loved it. Make me some pigs in a blanket girl. Mmmmmm.

Hugs...Jeanne

Hi BJ. I'm gonna have to make pigs in a blanket for lunch sometime. My husband will not eat a sandwich (like he's royalty or something) but he would like the piggies.

Guess what...I got the bowls too! Actually my friend found them and got several of us a set of them. They are adorable. Makes us happy, right?

I love the jar with cookie mix idea. That's a great gift!

A fun post - the Christmas meme is great. If I run out of things to post about, I may do it. Enjoyed your shopping trip, but afraid I would have had to go out to lunch somewhere. I make pigs in the blanket the same way - it must be the era in which we were newlyweds. Have a great day. Sally

It's amazing the wonderful things that are at Wal-Mart. The pigs in the blankets look like something our grandchildren would like. Also, it's great that you keep the gumball machine filled for your grandchildren. You are rich in all that counts.
