What a cute sign...so in keeping with the French decor

Hi, little Yorkie...you sure are cute and that's a pretty cute little wicker loveseat with blue and white!!

.. what a fabulous chair.

The story is....she found this and another chair, took them home
and recovered them in their new French look.

Excuse me, but I even WANT THAT CUTE LAMP with the heart on top....
Where does one find such cute things ...
THIS is the cutest thing...all those plants in the drawers....

roosters and brightly colored plates ......

everything looks just right !

Not only is all of this just adorable....look what a FANTASTIC photo it made !!!

Here's that cute chair again...

I would have NEVER thought to put all those fabrics together but just look how
fabulous it looks....

AND....here is the other "found" chair, all decked out in it's
FRENCH FLAIR.....
cute,cute, cute

oops...i think i have this photo in twice but it is so pretty to look at, who cares ....

What a precious porch, SANTAMAKER....
You did such a magnificent job on your porch, the chairs, the furniture...
EVERYTHING looks just perfect.

I don't have a nice porch like this but if I did, I would want it all done up in this fabulous

COUNTRY FRENCH STYLE.

The photos with the antique cabinet remind me of my neighbor's sun porch. My neighbor's daughter, Janey, is a professional interior designer. Whenever Janey re-decorates, her mother calls and invites me to come see. I am usually at my neighbor's door before she hangs up her phone, too! Just before Christmas every year, my neighbor invites the neighborhood to come visit and enjoy donuts and coffee. The women always sit in the sunroom Janey decorated, and I so enjoy being there!

Hi BJ,
I am so flattered that you featured my little french country porch. I had a ton of fun putting it together! The only thing that I bought new was the rooster sign, (the first pic.) and the large rooster by the foot of the hutch. Everything else was from garage sales and consignment shops. I love the thrill of the hunt and tweaking it to make it my own. You are such a pro at this blogging thing! I am but a mere baby...my blog is only a couple days old. The address is Santamakersjourney.blogspot.com (note that there is no apostrophy). I hope you can come visit. I am lonely...LOL. I just wrote a little blurb on how and why I got started crafting. Let me know if you can't find it. Thanks again!! (yes, I noticed that the rms thing is not working when you type in my name, just go to porches I guess)

Hi BJ...so glad you showcased Santamaker's porch. She is amazing! She actually upholstered those chairs herself, I think. And her bedrooms on RMS are to die for...love everything she does! :-)

Hi Bj

You really need to ahve the "eye" to marry all those materials--obviously, she does!

I love porches. When we had our house built almost 10 years ago I had them change where my daughters upstairs window was going to be so I wouldn't have to worry about it interfering when I had my dream porch added on.....yep still dreamin". Some day I hope. I think they are just so peaceful and relaxing.

Have a happy weekend:0)
