I LOVE POTATO SKINS SO MUCH I WANT TO MARRY THEM !!

6 medium baking potatoes, baked

2 Tbl. oil

1/2 lb. Velveeta Cheese, cut into 1/4" cubes

4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

(by this time, my mouth is watering)

1/2 cup Sour Creme

1/2 cup sliced green onions

Preheat oven to 375....

slice potatoes lengthwise, scoop out the centers, leaving 1/4" thick shells.

Cut shells in half, crosswise.

Place your shells, skin side down, on baking sheet, brushing the inside with oil.

Bake about 15 minutes or until golden brown (drool, slober, drool)

Top evenly with cheese and bacon

Bake until cheese is melted

Top each with sour creme and chopped green onions

Makes 2 dz.

THE FASTEST DESSERT THAT I JUST

LOVE

ANGLE FOOD CAKE slices served with berries and SWEET WHIPPED CREME.....

I just read a blog SOMEWHERE that suggested you

lightly brown your slice of ANGLE CAKE

in butter in a skillet before adding the

berries and creme....

NOW, THAT SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN TO ME

so I am going to try it next time !!

**********

NOW....I am on my way over to YOUR sweet blog to see what goodies you have for me !!

THANKS AGAIN, KATHY, FOR THIS FABULOUS IDEA.....

Welcome back. I missed you this weekend.

BJ, you are always cooking something that looks so good. We like our berries on pound cake, and I do brown it with some butter before adding the berries. And, I love lettuce wraps.

I'll definitely try some of these. Thanks

Morning BJ! I just may have to write down a couple of those recipes! Oh, I wanted you to know I've started a blog too. I'm very new - just started it last week! Come by and see me sometimes. I don't have it quite down yet, but I'm meeting so many nice folks! How are all of your roosters doing?

Hello BJ, back from camping and trying to catch up on so many posts I have missed. I just read your trip to France and it was a hoot. My Ireland trip was a bore after reading about all the excitement of a trip to Paris with you. Smile!
My friend of fifty years has been trying to get me to go for years. She said she didn't want to be so old no one would pinch her behind.I think it is too late for us already. Smile.

Your recipes today sound so good. I want the potato skins, they are my favorites too. Marriage is a big commitment tho. Love your humor.

Love ya, Jeanne

Hi BJ -
These recipes sound yummy! Wish I could taste them. Do you need a taste tester? I'll be right over.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for leaving your sweet comments. The sky and cloud photo is mine. I took it from my front yard. My sweetheart never knows what I'm up to when I grab the camera and run out the front door like a gang of bandits are after me. I've found myself barefooted, nearly a block away in pursuit of the perfect photo of clouds or the sunset! I really must keep shoes by the door. Please stop by and visit again. I'll be back here soon, of course.
