For MY family, the word for today is ...."EXCITMENT"

A SOUTHWEST AIRLINES plane, will fly to AUSTIN, TEXAS, with PRECIOUS CARGO ~

WOW....what an awesome place; especially when, tonight, it will hold not only HANNAH MONTANA and all of her fabulous band and other artists, but some of MY granddaughters, my beautiful daughter, handsome son*in*law, handsome son and lovely daughter*in*law......

Just LOOKING at this picture makes ME excited and I'm not even going. I am excited because I can just imaging how much fun my sweeties are going to have. (OK..well, I do have to admit that I DID get excited when I saw Hannah's (Miley) dad, BILLY RAY CYRUS, in person, back in his "ACHY BREAKY HEART" days. He was here in concert and I took our 2 oldest grand kids to see him and they STILL talk about it!! :)

What a lovely hotel to stay in while on a MAGICAL, TO-BE-REMEMBERED-ALWAYS trip......I have a feeling those girls are going to be so excited, there will be NO sleeping !!!!!

On one of my Christmas postings, I mentioned that 2 of my granddaughters were given tickets and a trip to Austin, Tx. to see HANNAH MONTANA. You would think they had been given the MOON AND STARS, all wrapped up with a SILVER BOW. Soooooo excited were they !!!!! They just sent me a picture of their new clothes, shown above, for THE night....guitar purses and all.

They said, "NOTHING could make this trip any better !!" Well, guess what??? IT GOT BETTER......

Their dad was offered 4 more tickets to the concert so now there's FIVE (5)granddaughters going and they are all BEST FRIENDS. You would think the SUN and ALL THE OCEANS had been added to that package of MOON AND STARS and now tied with a 14K, GOLDEN, SPARKLY BOW.

There are 3 ten year olds, 1 six year old and a fourteen year old and their world is looking PRETTY DARN GOOD right about now. I am pretty sure they are all thinking that NO ONE, ever, had as good a time as they are going to have......and, maybe they are right! :)

"Have so much fun, sweet girls. I love you all up to the moon and back!"

Memaw

MAY THEIR TRIP TO AND FROM BE BLESSED AND SAFE ~AMEN

Oh my goodness! Those are some lucky girls! I know a couple of 9 year olds who would be over the moon to be in their shoes!
God bless.

Good Morning BJ,
Did you have fun yesterday eating all the good pies? LOL. I sure did. I think I gained 10 pounds from jumping around looking at all of them. LOL. Oh my goodness, I am so excited for your Grandaugters as well. I know they can't wait till tonight. They will have the time of their life and that will be the talk for a while. My Sister and I tried to get our girls tickets the Hannah Montana's Concert in Memphis last year, but we didn't have any luck. They had sold out in like 8 minutes and we were both online trying to get some. We didn't tell them that we were trying to get them because it was going to be part of their Christmas present from my Sister. And we sure didn't want them getting their hopes up high just to be let down. Both of our girls are huge Hannah Montana Fans. I remember her Daddy back in his Achy Breaky Heart days as well. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I've had so much fun catching up with you this morning! This latest post is so delightful!

My eldest g'daughter Xanti is a huge Reba fan. A year ago, last fall, my daughter Michelle took Xanti to California as a sort of au pair for babies Gabi and Drew, while they visited their California g'parents. While there, Michelle surprised Xanti with a taping of the Reba show. That is an unforgettable memory for Xanti. She got Reba tickets (for her St Louis show) for Christmas 07. I know your g'girls will remember this forever!

Hi BJ:-)
Oh this is just fabulous news!!!
I love watching Hanana Montana on the Disney channel. My hubs asked me if I wanted tickets to go see her? I said "Um NO"!!, "I'm 39 and I have no children so how on earth would that look"? He said, well the way you act sometimes, you should fit right in *LOL*. What a character he is right? :-).
Have an awesome day!!

Just discovered your blog over at Lucy Bloom's; enjoyed looking thru. I love several posts ago where you showed rooms you like; especially the living room with red and white check lampshades. Hope your granddaughters have a wonderful time with Hannah!

One of my nieces thinks Billy Ray Cyrus is soooooo hot. I think he looks pretty good myself, lol. Did you get his autograph?

Have a good upcoming weekend, BJ, and how are you feeling now after having surgery?
