MUFFIN LINERS by another NAME...

Hey, ya'll
Here it is, Thursday 13th...
sure glad it's not FRIDAY 13th !!....Boooooo
Hope things are going really good in your part of the world.
Things are good here....BUT....NO SALE AS YET. :((
In the last 2 weeks...and starting into the 3rd week, we have had
NO LOOKERS....

I'm TRYING to get stressed about it
but too many other things going on in our world to be thankful for...
I look for thankful things about this olden house....
and....
I am thankful we haven't had a tornado blow it away like the poor folks in Oklahoma.
GOD BLESS THEM ALL.

  SOOO, I am NOT stressed.

OK then....

I saw the following in a magazine and wanted to share such a cute, simple trick with you...

What a snazzy idea, hu !!

How great is this over FABRIC covers that we have to size, cut, use pinking shears on...
...just grab some adorable muffin liners.....
a little ribbon  .....
and you are GOOD TO GO.

I thought, "OBOY, I have plenty of cute cupcake liners...."
and then I remembered they are ALL at the new house.

BUMMER...

O, wait....

I remembered I'd bought these little animal print liners.

THIS is the last of my STRAWBERRY FREEZER JAM

If you want to make some,
using the recipe on the
NO COOK FREEZER JAM
Fruit Pectin package,
and buying
FREEZER PROOF
little cute jars...

you are in for the most delightful treat, ever.
Since it is mostly FRUIT,
each jar tastes like
FRESH STRAWBERRIES....

soooo  good.......

AND

sooo pretty !!

ahhhhh, sweet APRICOTS...my favorite.

I looked hi and lo for cute ribbon ....
it's all at the NEW house.....along with my CUTE CUPCAKE LINERS...:>)

Just cut either DRIED or FRESH apricots into pieces (I use my kitchen shears) and cover with water..
boil gently for about an hour or maybe even two...just test after an hour.
You want them soft, mushy, sweet....like preserves.
I cooked two packages of dried apricots..
after cooking for about an hour, I added my sugar (to taste...we like ours really sweet)
a small cap full of Almond flavoring.and cook awhile longer......
just until  they are PERFECT...

seems the DRIED take a little longer to get mushy and thick than the FRESH.

They sure make for a DELICIOUS breakfast...:)

...just a quick and very simple little project....
my FAVORITE kind. :)

...if you use some cute paper muffin liners for some of your jellies,
would you show us ??

and, in the meantime, I am going to get some of my liners and some ribbon
and try for a CUTER LOOK. :))
XOXOXO

Those are pretty cute! You have the perfect frame of mind concerning no lookers! It is all a matter of perspective. I saw the pin you had with paper liners in a mason jar...so cute and, of course, I copied that.

I have done the cute cupcake liners, bj!!! It's so much easier and there are so many pretty designs! I put mine over the lid and then put on the band, but I like your idea better...so cute!!

You have a great attitude! So are you still living in the olden house?

All those delicious pics are making me HUNGRY!!! I haven't had time - or TAKEN the time!- to make jam in ever so long! My brother has an apricot tree. I'll have to ask them if the fruit is ripe yet!

Such a cute idea, BJ. I need to look for some cute muffin liners. Remember you just need ONE buyer for your house - said a prayer that that person will come by SOON.

Good thing it's strawberry season again...although it may be past strawberry season in Texas? Strawberry freezer jam tastes more like fresh berries than any other. I might have tomake some:>) And top it with cute cupcake papers.

Every time I visit here you have me licking my lips. I want to be your neighbor.

I know just how stressful waiting for your house to sell can be. You hang in there, and I'll keep praying.♥

Hey there BUSS ROPER..... Comment above. What's this leaving a comment on my Friend's blog?!?

Leaving a click-able link, FOR THE SUGAR INDUSTRY?!?

Fiddle sticks! Sugar doesn't lead to anything bad, hu?! Hahhhhhhhhhhhh...

I have dropped sugar from my diet, along with other stuff like gluten and dairy.... And my Arthritis is gone!

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, BUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Auntie sezzzzzz... said...

And naturally, if you click on Buss Roper's 'name'... You get a mostly blank page. Hahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Auntie sezzzzzz... said...

But if you click on link in his comment, you get info from Sugar Technology International.

Hehhhh.....

Guess what side they are on, on the issue of, "is sugar good for you?"

I BJ, The preserves look so good. I think I will have to try some. Love the cupcake liner idea. It is one of those Duh! moments. As in why didn't I think of that!
I keep my cupcake liners in jelly jars in the pantry. Why not keep the friendship close.
School is out now and maybe some of those lookers were waiting for that to move. Prayers for a quick sale. Have a blessed weekend, Ginger

Love that idea of muffin liners - saw that somewhere a long time ago and do you think for one hot second I ever remembered to do it?

Hopefully the vision of your adorable animal print ones will come to mind next time I need to do so.

Thanks for your visit, bj - always great to hear from you.

About selling a house: Catholics have this belief that if you buy a St. Joseph statue and bury him upside down in the front yard of the home you want to sell you will get a buyer quickly.

EVERY single person I have ever shared that with did it and found it to work. Just tellin ya just in case.

Hugs.
