Bunco Babes and Sliders

Hello, everyone...
Glad to see you. Hope your week is going good.

I belong to a monthly BUNCO group called
THE BUNCO BABES
and we have so much fun, I could just spit.

Lots of laughing, eating, and laughing some more....
I do love my Bunco Babes ladies.

The young lady here with me is KANDICE and she is the "baby of the group".

Her mother is ONE OF US and we love having YOUNG BLOOD to keep us all in check.

Kandice had everything so nice for us .......

This is Mary and I think she has had a BUNCO every game we've ever played and we are  into our 2nd year.

Almost every photo I have of her, she is wearing one of those BLING NECKLACES.  :>)
Kandace had the tables set up sooo cute.
I am in love with ZEBRA and TURQUOISE....

BRIGHT COLORS to match our
BRIGHT MOODS....
OOO, YES...
there's MONEY to be won....
WOO HOO.....

The pretty lady in yellow (that's me, grinning like a possum)
is my friend, MARTHA,
that's been fighting colon cancer for almost a year.

She just got a MAGNIFICENT report that her cancer is GONE.
All the GLORY goes to GOD.

Martha is still very thin....and weak....and pale....but.....
we're gonna work on all of those.

She lost all her pretty silver hair and bought a GORGEOUS BLONDE wig...She said, "by golly, if I HAVE to wear a wig, I decided to be BLONDE instead of WHITE"......

hahhaa...I don't blame you one single bit, Martha.

She and the other Martha with her in this photo,  have also had breast cancer but both kicked it's butt to the curb.....
We are all so thankful.

THIS is the reason we MUST keep fighting Breast Cancer...!!
"WHAT HAPPENS at BUNCO.....stays at  BUNCO"
hahhhaaa....gotta love it.

EARLENE is our JUNE BUNCO QUEEN
with the most Buncos in the game .

Just look at all that BLING hanging around her neck....
FOUR...
and...you win MONEY for the most Buncos.

Earlene and I and Martha went to high school together.
PRETTY COOL....!!
One of our sweet ladies made these little
HAM and CHEESE SLIDERS
and they are so delicious that I googled the recipe
so that YOU could try them, too.

2 pkg hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
1 pkg deli sandwich ham
12 slice swiss cheese
1/2 c butter, melted
1 Tbsp poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp brown or dijon mustard
1 tsp onion powder

Directions

Slice top from rolls and place bottoms in baking pan. Layer ham and cheese on rolls. Replace tops. Combine butter, poppy seeds, mustard,Worcestershire, and onion powder and mix well. Drizzle over rolls. Refrigerate until butter is firm or overnight. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cheese melts. Uncover and cook for 2 additional minutes. Serve warm or cold.
Our lady added a tiny bit of sugar to the dressing for these little delectables...
ALSO, she added the dressing to the INSIDE of the little rolls, with a tad bit
on the tops.

I am wondering if one could use that delicious POPPY SEED DRESSING....????
...wonder why not...?

Love to all,

It looks like all you and your friends are having a grand happy time playing Bunco.. and simply being together. I can honestly say I have NOT heard of this game. I must have a look on the internet to find out about it. Hugs Judy

So happy and thankful for your friend Martha's victory over colon cancer! I have had a soft spot in my heart for people with colon cancer since back in 1980 when my own father lost his battle with colon cancer at the young age of 55... so much good research since then... have to keep the funding going so one day cancer will be an obsolete word! Have a great weekend BJ! love, Suzy from Pennsylvania

It all looks wonderful to me, and I am so proud of God and the gals for kicking breast cancer's butt.

Is the new house very far from the bunco group? (If you've said, forgive me. I really AM blonde and threrefore prone to forgetfulness.)

It's so much fun for me seeing all the fun you gals have. What a support group! Better than many where one sits around singing the blues. Love it!

Back in my homeschooling days (my kids have both finished high school), I was part of a homeschool moms Bunco group. It was always loads of fun.

Those sandwiches look delicious. I think I have something like them "pinned" on my Pinterest page. I've never made them, but based on your photos, I'm thinking it's high-time I did.

Have a great day,
Patti

I played bunco for years when my kids were babies...I needed that night out! It is so fun and so easy you can talk at the same time. Yours looks a little fancier than ours was...we just had dessert! I'm glad your friend is doing well. It looks like a nice group of ladies.
