A little bit of BLUE

As with each and every FATHER'S DAY...
we had a perfect one.

Son David and Kathy had us all over for a HUGE cookout....

HOT DOGS and ALL the trimmings...

David made his delicious HOMEMADE ICE CREAM...

He is sooo good at it.

Stacy with her daddy,
Deeds and Jent.

 ...and speaking of JENT...
he got a HUGE, NEW PICKUP TRUCK...
I just HAD to get my picture made beside it...
to show you how big it is...!! and, sooo pretty.

Some of our family couldn't be with us...
Brooks had to work...
Brynn wasn't feeling well.
We missed 'em and we love 'em...

CATE was going back and forth from the hot tub to the pool...
and having a blast.

The weather could not have been more perfect.

Hope your day was a good one, too.
Linking with BLUE MONDAY

What a beautiful day you had...that swimming pool looks SO refreshing! Isn't it fun to get together with family, no matter what the occasion? Yes, that truck is very big and you are very tiny!

Jane

Looks like fun! We had my 74 year old dad here for the weekend. He leaves from Lockhart on Wednesday to drive to Abilene for a Cushman Scooter rally. He's very on the go!

Looks like a gorgeous day with the fam. Lots of huge trucks in our neck of the woods.

Holy Cow, that's a big truck! It looks like the guys (and everyone else) had a great Fathers Day. We took Earl to luncha t his favorite steak house and then to Barnes & Noble to check out the latest magazines and have coffee. After that it was home to skype with Lauren who is in PA right now with her husband. A pretty laid back Fathers Day, but a good one.

No matter the occasion, you and family enjoy being together. What a blessings. I would give my front tooth for some of that homemade ice cream. My mother used to make the best in the old hand crank freezers.

Girl, if I were you I'd steal that truck. You look too cute next to it so it needs to be in your garage!

Wonderful Day for family. That ice cream churn sure is tempting.
I bet you need a stool to get into the truck!
