Her birthday was fun....

Hey, Everyone...hope all is going good with you and yours.
Things are rockin' right along around here.
We are finally tired of FOR SALE BY OWNER
and will sign up with a realtor this week.
I feel like we will get so many more people coming thru.

As always, getting together with family is FUN..
Stacy's 44th birthday.

So many of the kids were coming and going, I didn't get very many photos.
Sorry, Stac....

David and Kathy....

they were leaving before I remembered to grab the camera....

 I didn't get many photos...
but sure proud of this one, Stacy with Drew...her oldest.

I made the infamous
STRAWBERRY MARGARITA CAKE
 for her birthday cake.

It was sooo good...

a perfect recipe.
Cute Andrea.....
 always has a smile.

Bailey Kay....
with such a cute hairdoo.....ALWAYS.

When I made the cake, I didn't have my camera...
I had left it at a Bunco game gathering
sooo
I took photos of the whole cake on my PHONE CAMERA...

...but haven't figured out how to get the photos OFF my camera
and onto my LAP TOP.

sooo....
here is a  borrowed photo of the whole cake....

This awesome photo belongs to ALYSSA at WHAT'S COOKING, LOVE?

"Thanks, Alyssa, for this wonderful recipe.

Not only is it delicious, it makes a
BEAUTIFUL BIRTHDAY CAKE...
for a
BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER.

I must admit..I couldn't find the STRAWBERRY MARGARITA MIX...
so I used a STRAWBERRY cake mix, regular margarita mix and I also added..
sweetened strawberries.

It is probably the most moist cake I've ever made....
and really tasted great.

It did, indeed, make a PERFECT BIRTHDAY CAKE

 FOR THE PERFECT DAUGHTER. !!

Good Morning, BJ, Oh, that cake looks sooooooo good, but then, I haven't yet had breakfast!! ha. Sounds like you had a wonderful birthday celebration. Just wanted to say, I think you have made the right decision regarding the sale of your home. As a realtor, I see this all the time, there are many, many reason why it is best to have someone to help you navigate through the sale of a property these days as selling a house is not what it was 20 or 25 years ago for so many reasons. You will most likely get more for your property as well. It sounds like you have done everything right regarding staging your home and clearing things out. Before you know it, you will be on your way to your new place, ready for new adventures in life. Read your blog everyday and enjoy it so much, Blessings, Linda

What a sweet day you all must have had and hope many more birthdays!

Sometimes a realtor can get you more exposure if they work their job thoroughly. Here's hoping!

Such a pretty family! And I love that photo gallery in the background. Perfectly arranged black and whites - all nice and neat and hanging straight. My OCD side loves the perfection of that. I could never get them hung perfectly, though. Whoever did that deserves some chocolate!

Oh what I wouldn't give to have my mom make me a birthday cake again. Of course she was too far away to do it for years before she died, so I should be used to it by now. I see a post like this and I'm just so happy that your daughter has that! The cake looks amazing and your family is so special. How fun!
