A Great Easter

 Hi, Everyone.
I hope your Easter Sunday was a great one.
We were in the middle of an OPEN HOUSE (very poor planning on our part)
so we didn't have our ANNUAL TRADITIONAL EASTER LUNCH
but the day was a GOOD ONE.

Mr. Sweet and I started the blessed day with a great breakfast...
I almost always have an EASTER BASKET with candy and suckers for the kids...
You NEVER get too big for a big Chocolate Bunny Rabbit !!!

We had 3 more OPEN blooms on these pretty EASTER flowers Easter morning.
These are so much fun because you can almost SEE the pods opening up to the full blossom.
WHAT in the world are these flowers ??
I just LOVE them.

Here's Deeds, helping her little cousin, ELLIE, find all the eggs....:)

Mid-afternoon, after the afternoon church service, daughter, hubby and 3 of their offsprings stopped by to give us a hug..... a smile....an "I love you"....
and we had time to take a few photos of the day.....

Here's 3 of the grands that I love so much.....;>)
we have 10 of the sweetest ones in the whole wide world...

BRYNNA, DEEDS and
DREW
...and here they are, with MY baby girl, their mama, STACY LEIGH.
Isn't she so beautiful !!! I swear, she looks like one of the sisters....so young.
...and her girls are beautiful and her boy is handsome...
Handsome Brooks, son #2, had to work....he is a prep cook at Cracker Barrel...
and can make the best pies you ever tasted.

I happen to think they should send this photo to a modeling agency and they would BOTH be hired !!

 linking up and playing at
MOONSHINE MONDAY ( i luv that name :>)

I'm so glad you had a happy Easter, BJ. You have a beautiful family, your daughter looks just like you! We missed mass...they had the regular Sunday hours printed in our Easter bulletin...crazy.

The flowers are lilies, I had the same exact color on my table!! Small world. And we were in the fifties, the house was so hot with the oven and stove going all day, it felt like Florida!!

Many blessings to you and your family today and always. Take heart...the next open house will be great!

XO,
Jane

What a beautiful family! You are so blessed! You KNOW that, don't you?
Changing homes is a bit stressful! Prayers that the NEXT Open House will be THE Open House to close the deal!

You have a beautiful family! I agree that your daughter and granddaughter could pass for sisters and ought to find a mother/daughter modeling contest to enter.

And IMO, they both look like you. Do people tell you that a lot?

BJ,
I love this post!!!
Goes to show that you can celebrate Easter despite your circumstances!!!
Being a (retired) Military wife, we ,too, had some unique circumstances for holiday celebrations!!! But we celebrated them just the same!!!
Thanks for sharing and I pray your house $ells soon!!!
Fondly,
Pat

I'm glad to hear you had a Happy Easter. And you do have a beautiful family. I love that picture of Brynna yawning. Too funny! It makes me wonder if she didn't get up extra early to see what the Easter Bunny brought. LOL
