RANDOMNESS around the house....

Hi, Everybody.
LONG POST coming up....

With our son owning a moving company, we are sooo lucky.
When we get so many boxes packed that we can't move around,
he sends a crew over and, WALLA....
in no time at all, they wipe out all those boxes
and a few pieces of furniture.
(I just wish I could "wiggle my nose" now and get everything UNpacked.)

TODAY was our 2nd moving day....
The moving truck pulled up at 9:00 a.m., on the nose....

It will take forever to get all the boxes unpacked....

but it will be a lot more fun, placing my things around in a new house
than it was PACKING everything...

won't it....?????

I can't wait to start adding
PLANTS.....

This big dining area is flooded with light...

I think there's 4 large windows on each side.....

and these 2 sets of French doors with that AWESOME pool, right outside the doors.

It should be a fabulous place for some beautiful plants....
and I am thinking as I sit here looking at this photo that
this rooster cabinet that will go with me to my grave
because I LUV IT....
ANYway...I am thinking it will be an awesome
DRINK STATION.....
hmmmm.....

We have moved only a few pieces of furniture....

leaving enuf in the house to have that
"lived in" feeling
for staging the olden house
FOR SALE.

I have only a few of my pretties at the new place so you can see I just kept moving them around for pictures for
YOU. :))
I am about to have a hissy fit to move the dining table, which will sit right smack dab
in the middle of this spacious, wonderful room, on an awesome
Ballard Design Indoor/Outdoor rug.....
NO WORRIES when wet grands come in for
a milkshake...
or  a  Cherry Vanilla coke with some homemade cookies...
or
a Chicken Salad sandwiches and Sweet Potato Fries.

We're excited to have a large
tv in the kitchen area...
a FIRST for us.

This is such a nice home that David and Kathy have so generously shared with us.

We can hardly wait to get
ALL MOVED IN....
"...just belly up to the bar, kids...."

I will get photos of the kitchen next.
This island is beautiful and the "working" side of it is loaded with storage...

...just a glimpse of the bath...
it's very small...shower only...no tub
but we are showering olden people so we are FINE with no tub to have to keep clean..
....getting so lazy in my old age....
OOO, and something MR. SWEET loves...a urinal.
OH DEAR.....
remember, this is not only a guest house but a pool house so I guess
the fella that built it was thinking of the MEN who would be swimming.
Mr. Sweet says "thank ya, sir".
:>)

We are sooo excited and gearing up to have our house listed for sale
the week of  MARCH 4TH.

I just can't quit looking at David's awesome beautiful pool...

Ya'll get your pretty selves into that swim suit and come
play in the pool with me....
when you finish playing, you can come thru those doors right there for a cool treat.
OH HONEY

XOXO bj

  42. Lovely home - the details are what make it so, and that island counter looks as if a wheelchair might fit under. I like that feature :)

When we last moved in 1991 to our home, some boxes took a few years to be opened. Of course we packed the boxes ourselves and let the movers move them...

A dip in the pool and a treat after - nice!

  43. How exciting! The new house looks great - cannot wait to see the rest of it. I always think that I would love to move (have not done so in a long time), but then I think about packing up all of the china and...well, you know the rest! This place looks just fine - lol!
